6-week course to be held until May 14
A six-week course about “Parenting the Love and Logic Way” is from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays from April 9 to May 14 at the Moffat County Department of Social Services. The class is free and is open to all parents and educators of children of all ages. Snacks and child care will be provided.
The Love and Logic philosophy was founded in 1977 by Jim Fay and Dr. Foster Cline and provides simple and practical techniques to help parents with kids of all ages raise responsible children, have more fun in their role and easily and immediately change their children’s behavior, according to a news release from Moffat County and Connections 4 Kids.
The course is being offered by the Moffat County Department of Social Services and Connections 4 Kids, which is the early childhood council that serves Moffat and Rio Blanco counties. Charity Reiser and Michelle Balleck will facilitate the class. Call Balleck at 970-824-8282, ext. 47, or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
