25 shades of Craig: Gifting

It’s the holidays, the time of year where people tend to get stressed trying to find the perfect gift.

Men, let me let you in on a little secret: For women bigger is not always better.

Women are very sentimental and for us the little things matter. If you want to get her a gift that makes her heart melt and puts a huge smile on her face, get her a gift that she would not only treasure but that she will always remember.

Take a minute and think about where her passions and love lie. Think of the things that she would love to have but would never get for herself.

I know this can be tricky and that sometimes your heart is in the right place but the gift did not show it. If you need some help ask her friends, they would be more than happy to let you in on what gift she would love this year.

Please note if you are going to get her a food processer or new pots and pans, make sure that the lady in your life LOVES to cook is passionate about it and she just doesn’t do it so that you all wont starve.

When you give a gift that has no meaning behind it to a woman it makes her feel unappreciated and undervalued, and it breaks her heart. It makes her feel as though you have no clue of who she is.

Make it simple, make it personal and make it from the heart.

The best gift that I have ever received was a framed picture that my daughter painted. Every time I look at that picture I am reminded of her.

Gifts should come from the heart not from the wallet.
