2009-10 MCHS girls basketball team and coaches: Thanks for the support

To the editor:

The Moffat County High School girls basketball team would like to send out a big thank you to all of the veterans who have served and are serving our country, securing our individual freedoms and ensuring the rights that we benefit from on a daily basis.

We also would like to thank all the community members who came out and supported us Monday morning for our pancake breakfast fundraiser. Once again, our community shines in the midst of our traditional rainy Memorial Day weekend weather.

Thank you to the Craig Lions Club for allowing us the use of the Lions Club trailer, and thank you to Tony Maneotis for getting the trailer there and sharing your culinary abilities with us.

Thank you to Brent and Debbie Nations, owners of B&B Welding, for the use of your generator so that our electricity was not interrupted, and to Jackie Roberts, owner of Under the Aspen Tree.

If not for you and your store, our coffee would have been lukewarm and not nearly as plentiful as it was.

To all the parents who donated time, supplies and manpower, thank you. Because of the collaborative efforts of all, our fundraiser was a success.

Go Bulldogs.
