— An undercover drug investigation resulted in two arrests in Craig early Tuesday morning.

The All Crimes Enforcement Team, Craig Police Department, Moffat County Sheriff’s Office, 14th Judicial District Attorney’s Office and the Joint Moffat/Craig Special Response Tactical Team executed two search warrants at Craig homes Tuesday.

The arrests were made at about 8 a.m.

Conny Mullis, 45, and Maria Saenz, 32, both of Craig, were arrested on suspicion of unlawful distribution of controlled substances. A news release from the Craig Police Department states that both arrests involved methamphetamine.

Mullis and Saenz were arrested at 796 Barclay St., where one of the search warrants was executed. The other search warrant was executed at 974 Aiken St. in Craig. The contents of that warrant have been sealed by the court, according to the release.

Craig Police Chief Walt Vanatta said more information would be available at the conclusion of the searches, likely Wednesday.
