John Jepkema, 94, passed away March 27, 2023, in Craig, Colorado. John was born June 8, 1928 in Kalamazoo Michigan. He married Audrey Brown in 1951 and raised three children, Laurel, Juliana and John David. An Army veteran, John taught school in Michigan and later Craig Colorado, where he spent 25 years teaching math for the Moffat County High School. John retired in 1988. John was an avid hiker, reserve deputy sheriff, target shooter and high school sports supporter. A celebration of life will be held on June 5, 2023 beginning at 11:00AM at the Moffat County Fairgrounds Pavilion in Craig, Colorado. Members of the public are welcome. A reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Moffat County High School Girls’ Athletic Department in John’s memory.
