G.I. Buffham passed from this life on May 26, 2021 in Craig, Colorado. He was born May 13, 1934 in Craig, Colorado to Galen Ingalls Buffham Sr. and Opal May Hood. He graduated from Moffat County High School in 1952. After graduation, he studied at Mesa College to become a Land Surveyor. He served two years in the U.S. Army. He Started his own business in 1963 and worked on various projects in the area. He was also Water Referee for 18 years in Division 6 for the State of Colorado. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing guitar and spending time at his cabin on Black Mountain.

He is survived by his wife Norma, 4 children; Julie (Don) Maupin, Will (Brenda) Buffham, Kirk Buffham, Kathy Buffham (Matt Cassidy); 2 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. His parents, one son, a sister and a great grandson preceded him in death.

Services were held on June 1, 2021 at Grant Mortuary in Craig.
