They also served in the Dominican Republic for 3 years, Zanesville, OH for many years, and Alturas, CA before finally moving to Craig, CO. Lee and Betty served as principal and matron at Messiah Bible School for a number of years. Betty enjoyed relating to the young people and helped many girls in their Christian lives. Betty loved having company, and serving others was very important to her. On the holidays she often invited those without family for a special meal that she prepared for them. Their home was open to everyone. Over the years many others lived with them and became like family to them. Betty was always interested in their lives. Mother was concerned about her children’s and grandchildren’s spiritual lives. Having us following God’s leading was more important to her than having us live close to her. She was a special mother and grandma and gave us wise counsel. We will miss her love and prayers. Lee’s current address is 10 County Road 22, Craig, CO, 81625.
