Beverly Ann Johnson, age 82, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2020, with loved ones nearby and in the comfort of her home. From her birth in Rock Springs, WY to her death on Wednesday, her tender heart and positive outlook on life captured the hearts of those who knew her.
Bev lived in Wyoming and Utah, before moving to Colorado, where she married Les Johnson in 1959. They, along with their 3 children, loved spending time at their property on East Fork, and Quaker Mountain. The Johnsons owned Les Johnson Construction and enjoyed golfing, bowling and attending their kids sporting events.
Beverly found joy in her family and pets, meeting with the “coffee ladies”, crafting, preparing favorite family dishes, and coloring. She was each grandchild’s biggest fan; traveling across the country to support them in sports, theater, weddings, births, and sharing in life’s many celebrations and heartaches. She had a way for making her loved ones feel especially adored, and her warmth, kindness and generosity were apparent to all.
Beverly will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Andrea (Richard) Norman and Shelly (Jeff) Dillingham. She will be missed by her grandchildren Erik (Marissa) Johnson, Heather (Joshua) Graham, Jessica (Ryan) Dennison, Tarryn Johnson, Cody (Abbie) Norman and Macray Dillingham. She was a most loved GG to 9 great grandchildren. Beverly was preceded in death by her husband Les, and son Michael, and her father, mother and sister. The family will attend a private graveside service and host a celebration of life this summer.
