Police give ride to injured, drunken pedestrian covered in snow: On the Record — Feb. 11

1:01 a.m. On the 300 block of Woodbury Drive, police in Craig checked on the welfare of a Craig resident. Officers said a resident fell on the ice, and an ambulance responded, but additional information was not available.

7:05 a.m. At Cedar Mountain Village, police responded to a property damage crash. A vehicle slid off the road and slightly damaged a telephone pole. Police said the vehicle was slightly damaged, and no citation was issued.  

8:34 a.m. On the 3000 block of Juniper Place, police responded to a possible hit-and-run crash. A white Dodge hit a grey Dodge, and information was exchanged between parties for a minor accident.

10:13 a.m. On the 2000 block of Baker Drive, police responded to a disturbance between two males, and initial reports alleging a knife was involved were inaccurate. Police said a 33-year-old Craig man was arrested on suspicion of third degree assault and disorderly conduct.   

3:50 p.m. On the 3000 block of Essex Court, police responded to a report of a threat. Police said the case was phone harassment involving numerous calls. The incident is under investigation.

6:28 p.m. In Craig, police responded to a report of domestic violence. Officers were unable to make contact with anyone at the residence.

8:45 p.m. On the 800 block of Colorado Street, police responded to a report of a drunken pedestrian. A caller reported a male was stumbling and yelling around homes in the area. Police made contact with the man, who as covered in snow, and provided him with ride to East 12th Street. Police said the man was injured and told police he had been in altercation, but did not want make a report to police.

10:13 p.m. On the 700 block of Tucker Street, police responded to a harassment call. Upon arrival, they found a dispute between neighbors who were yelling and calling each other names. A 48-year-old Craig woman was issued a citation for harassment.

10:18 p.m. On the 800 block of Washington Street, police responded to a report of fraud. The matter is under investigation.
