Teen spirit
Location San Fransicso, March 25 After flying from Grand Junction to Denver we are now in San Francisco waiting for the long 13-hour flight to Asia. The plane I was on from Denver to San Fran was the largest I've ever been on. I'm told our plane to Taipei will be even larger. My request is that it is big enough to have a running track on it so I can get some exercise: I have a couple of shout outs today: RelientK, Luke Flowers, AnBerlin and Jonah Werner all rock! I left Craig at 10:30 p.m. after Young Life club Monday. I'd been up since 3:45 a.m. because I delivered papers that morning, so around Meeker my eyes started getting heavy. I pulled over for a nap. When I woke I turned on my iPod and songs from the aforementioned bands came up on my iPod consecutively. They got the energy going again and I had no trouble driving the rest of the way. All four bands are Christians making music. I really think that genre has improved drastically since I was in high school. My youth group leaders tried to get us hooked on Christian music and I never caught on. Today though there are some Christian artists who I connect with well (I'm still a Vanilla Ice boy at heart). When I think about it, I didn't connect with the Bible when I was in high school either and today it's rare that I don't connect when I pick it up. Maybe it's just that the message is more appealing. I'll give credit to the Holy Spirit warming me up on both.

Question of the week
Do you seek medical care from The Memorial Hospital in Craig or Yampa Valley Medical Center in Steamboat Springs?
