Weight Loss Challenge - Day 24
So I am not doing as well as I should be diet-wise and am not dropping the pounds as quickly as I'd like. So I think it's time to start the inevitable torture of exercise. Sigh.
My good friend Jessica has inspired me to begin a two-week, habit-forming regimen. I will start tonight. As I understand it, if you can force yourself to exercise five times a week for two weeks, it will become a habit you want to continue. We'll see.
I haven't exercised with any kind of regularity since high school soccer. Yikes. I'm not exactly sure what kind of exercises to do, but am sure that some crunches, lunges and Wii Fit Plus (awesome Christmas present from my parents!) will be in order.
What do you do to work out? What have you found works best to trim down and shape up? Post your suggestions here!

Its important to get at least 30 min of exercise a day. A good diet and exercise program is a must for everyone. I think it is best if you find an activity that fits you. Expermint until you smile and wake up every morning wanting to do your exercise. There is an endless list of activites to choose from: If you like being with others, you can go to the gym or enjoy team sports, exercise class, pilates yoga or tai-chi. Sometimes being alone is good too, so you can think and reflect. I personally love to do both and mix it up 3 days of cardio and 2 days of yoga/pilates. I find this gives me exactly the results i want in my weight and figure. What ever you do… do what you love. And whenever possible get out and move in nature; it is good to breathe fresh air and move in the sunshine. Your heart will experience the benefits too, as you can use the time to listen to yourself and make decisions for your days, using the time to see the beauty in nature and letting it teach you.

Agreed…you do need to experiment with different things to find what works for you cuz if you are doing something that you dread then you'll fall off the workout wagon :) I do The Firm and absolutely LOVE it! I can do it in the comfort of my own home at any time of the day or night I have already seen inches coming off just after 10 days my pants fit a little less snug ;) I agree with the 2 week routine also…I have been doing mine for 2 weeks and it is now just part of my nightly routine!!
