I made a trip to Grand Junction with a friend this weekend. And what do you do when you make it out of Craig and have endless food options? Splurge! We had Taco John's for lunch and a feast at Olive Garden for dinner. Whoops.

So I worked out for 30 minutes last night while watching a movie, and it actually wasn't too bad! My legs were shaking by the end, but I still felt like I wanted to do more. Here's hoping this is the start of a something good!

So I am not doing as well as I should be diet-wise and am not dropping the pounds as quickly as I'd like. So I think it's time to start the inevitable torture of exercise. Sigh.2 comments

Is it easier to stick to your diet at home on the weekend or during the workweek? Is it better to diet in the winter or the summer? Does it help to diet with a friend or family member for support? My answers: Weekend, summer and yes. At least that's the excuses I'm sticking to...1 comment

I weighed myself today for the first time since I began the diet a week ago and ... (drum roll please) ... I am down 2.8 pounds to 139.2!

I committed the cardinal sin of dieting today - I ate out at lunch. I know, I know... but I made a pseudo-healthy choice: shredded chicken soft tacos. But as if the tortillas were not enough to put me over my lunchtime quota, the chips and salsa certainly were.
