  • ...SIGNIFICANT PRECIPITATION POSSIBLE SUNDAY THROUGH MONDAY...
    A STRONG UPPER LOW WILL DEVELOP ACROSS THE FOUR CORNERS REGION
    LATE SATURDAY NIGHT, FURTHER STRENGTHENING AS IT MOVES INTO THE
    TEXAS PANHANDLE SUNDAY. THIS LOW WILL INTERACT WITH AMPLE LOW
    LEVEL MOISTURE, SUPPORTING WIDESPREAD MODERATE TO HEAVY RAINFALL
    ACROSS CENTRAL AND PORTIONS OF WESTERN KANSAS. THERE WILL BE VERY
    LITTLE IN THE WAY OF COLD AIR FOR THIS STORM TO INTERACT WITH.
    THEREFORE, MUCH OF THE PRECIPITATION WITH THIS STORM WILL FALL AS
    RAIN THROUGH SUNDAY NIGHT.
    SNOW WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS WEST CENTRAL KANSAS BY EARLY MONDAY
    MORNING. SNOW MAY THEN SPREAD EASTWARD INTO CENTRAL AND PORTIONS
    OF SOUTHWEST KANSAS DURING THE DAY BEFORE COMING TO AN END BY
    MONDAY NIGHT. ALTHOUGH IT IS STILL TOO EARLY TO DETERMINE HOW
    MUCH SNOW ACCUMULATION THERE WILL BE, ANY SNOWFALL MAY CREATE
    THE POTENTIAL FOR HAZARDOUS TRAVELING CONDITIONS.
