    * MOISTURE FROM THE REMNANTS FOR TROPICAL STORM SIMON WILL
    CONTINUE TO IMPACT PORTIONS OF COLORADO THROUGH THIS EVENING.
    THUNDERSTORMS...THOUGH ISOLATED...WILL MOVE ACROSS THE SAN JUAN
    MOUNTAINS AND ADJACENT FOOTHILLS THIS EVENING. THESE STORMS MAY
    RESULT IN LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL AND LEAD TO EXCESS RUNOFF IN
    THE FORM OF FLASH FLOODING.

    * THROUGH THIS EVENING
    * THERE IS AN ENHANCED RISK OF FLASH FLOODING FOR WEST CENTRAL
    COLORADO WHERE THE OCCURRENCE OF HEAVY RAIN IS LIKELY. THIS
    INCLUDES THE BOOKCLIFFS...THE CANYONS WITHIN THE COLORADO
    NATIONAL MONUMENT...MCINNIS CANYONS CONSERVATION AREA...BIG
    DOMINGUEZ...AND ANY OTHER CANYONS ALONG THE UNCOMPAHGRE
    PLATEAU OR SAN JUAN MOUNTAINS. ANY STREAMS OR CREEKS
    ORIGINATING FROM THE GRAND MESA MAY EXPERIENCE FLASH FLOODING.
    * SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE FREQUENT AND WIDESPREAD
    TODAY. LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN CAN BE EXPECTED WHICH MAY RESULT IN
    FLASH FLOODING. RAINFALL RATES MAY EXCEED ONE INCH PER HOUR
    UNDER THE STRONGEST SHOWERS OR THUNDERSTORMS.
