    THURSDAY...
    * LOCATION...THE NORTHERN SANGRE DE CRISTO MOUNTAINS...THE
    EASTERN SAN JUAN MOUNTAINS...THE LA GARITA MOUNTAINS AND THE
    SAN LUIS VALLEY...INCLUDING WOLF CREEK...CUMBRES AND LA VETA
    PASSES.
    * CAUSE AND TIMING...A STORM SYSTEM WILL BRING WIDESPREAD LIGHT
    TO MODERATE SNOWFALL TO THE AREA THROUGH TONIGHT.
    * SNOW ACCUMULATION...4 TO 9 INCHES IN THE MOUNTAINS WITH 2 TO 6
    INCHES IN THE SAN LUIS VALLEY...THE HIGHEST AMOUNTS SHOULD BE
    OVER WESTERN PORTIONS OF THE VALLEY CLOSEST TO THE HIGHER
    TERRAIN.
    * WIND...EAST AT 20 TO 30 MPH...DECREASING LATE.
    * IMPACT...PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...TRAVEL WILL BE
    HAZARDOUS DUE TO HEAVY SNOW...LOW VISIBILITIES AND ICY OR SNOW
    COVERED ROADS.

    * CAUSE AND TIMING...SNOW WILL DIMINISH FROM NORTHEAST TO
    SOUTHWEST ACROSS THE AREA.
    * SNOW ACCUMULATION...STORM TOTAL ACCUMULATIONS OF 3 TO 7 INCHES
    WITH HIGHER AMOUNTS MAINLY SOUTH OF HIGHWAY 50 AND WEST OF
    INTERSTATE 25.
    * IMPACT...TRAVEL WILL BE HAZARDOUS DUE TO ICY AND SNOW COVERED
    ROADS.
