    .WIDESPREAD SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED ACROSS SOUTHEAST
    COLORADO THROUGH TONIGHT. THE HEAVIEST PRECIPITATION COULD
    CONTINUE THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT HOURS FOR THE SOUTHEAST PLAINS. AREAS
    WHERE THE GROUND HAS BEEN SATURATED BY RAINFALL OVER THE PAST FEW
    DAYS COULD SEE SIGNIFICANT FLASH FLOODING IF THE HEAVIEST
    PRECIPITATION IMPACTS THOSE AREAS.

    THE FLASH FLOOD WATCH CONTINUES FOR
    * A PORTION OF SOUTHEAST COLORADO...INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING
    AREAS...BACA COUNTY...BENT COUNTY...CROWLEY COUNTY...KIOWA
    COUNTY...EASTERN LAS ANIMAS COUNTY...OTERO COUNTY...AND PROWERS
    COUNTY.
    * UNTIL 6 AM MDT THURSDAY
    * THE MOST INTENSE RAINFALL IS LIKELY TO OCCUR THROUGH THE LATE
    NIGHT HOURS. THIS WILL LEAD TO THE POTENTIAL FOR FLASH FLOODING.
    * AREAS WITH ALREADY SATURATED SOILS...URBAN AREAS...AND AREAS
    WITH POOR DRAINAGE WILL ALSO BE UNDER THE THREAT FOR FLASH
    FLOODING.
