    * LOCATIONS...NORTHERN EL PASO COUNTY...FREMONT COUNTY ABOVE 8500
    FEET...THE WESTERN MOSQUITO RANGE AND EASTERN CHAFFEE COUNTY
    ABOVE 9000 FEET...THE SANGRE DE CRISTO MOUNTAINS BETWEEN 7500
    AND 11000 FEET...AND THE WET MOUNTAIN AND WET MOUNTAIN VALLEY
    BETWEEN 6300 AND 10000 FEET.
    * CAUSE AND TIMING...A VIGOROUS SPRING STORM SYSTEM IS FORECAST TO
    MOVE ACROSS THE FOUR CORNERS REGION THURSDAY AFTERNOON...BEFORE
    MOVING ACROSS COLORADO THROUGH FRIDAY EVENING. THIS STORM SYSTEM
    WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING HEAVY SPRING SNOW...ESPECIALLY FOR
    LOCATIONS ABOVE 6000 FEET.
    * TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATION...MOUNTAIN AREAS WILL SEE 1 TO 2 FEET
    WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS. LOWER ELEVATIONS BETWEEN 6000 AND
    9000 FEET WILL SEE 6 TO 12 INCHES.
    * IMPACT...SNOW WILL BE CAPABLE OF CREATING HAZARDOUS WEATHER AND
    TRAVEL CONDITIONS. ACCUMULATING SNOW ON TREE BRANCHES AND POWER
    LINES COULD LEAD TO TREE DAMAGE AND POWER OUTAGES.
