    THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN GRAND JUNCTION HAS ISSUED A
    WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY ABOVE 9000 FEET FOR SNOW...WHICH IS IN
    EFFECT UNTIL NOON MDT TODAY.
    * LOCATIONS...THE WESTERN SAN JUAN MOUNTAINS ABOVE 9000
    FEET...INCLUDING THE CITY OF SILVERTON.
    * TIMING...SNOWFALL WILL CONTINUE TO ACCUMULATE THIS MORNING. A
    BREAK IS EXPECTED THIS AFTERNOON WITH SNOW MELTING ON THE
    ROADWAYS. THEN...SNOW WILL DEVELOP AGAIN LATE THIS EVENING WITH
    ACCUMULATIONS OF WET SNOW BEGINNING EARLY SUNDAY MORNING OVER
    THE HIGHEST ELEVATIONS.
    * SNOW ACCUMULATION...FROM 2 TO 6 INCHES ABOVE 9000 FEET THIS
    MORNING. THEN ANOTHER 3 TO 6 INCHES WITH HIGHER AMOUNTS POSSIBLE
    BEGINNING LATE TONIGHT THROUGH MONDAY MORNING ABOVE 10000 FEET.
    * SNOW LEVEL...SNOWFALL IS EXPECTED DOWN TO ABOUT 8000 FEET. SNOW
    ACCUMULATIONS ABOVE 9000 FEET THIS MORNING. TONIGHT THROUGH
    MONDAY MORNING...SIGNIFICANT SNOW ACCUMULATIONS ARE POSSIBLE
    ABOVE 10000 FT.
    * WINDS...LIGHT WINDS THIS MORNING. THEN SOUTHWEST WINDS WILL
    INCREASE TO 10 TO 20 MPH AT MOUNTAINTOP LEVEL TONIGHT AND WILL
    SHIFT TO THE NORTHWEST AND NORTH SUNDAY NIGHT.
    * VISIBILITY...REDUCED TO LESS THAN ONE MILE AT TIMES.
    * IMPACTS...ROADS OVER THE HIGHER MOUNTAIN PASSES...INCLUDING RED
