    * LOCATION...THE EASTERN SAN JUANS AND LA GARITAS ABOVE 10000
    FEET.
    * CAUSE AND TIMING...A STRONG SPRING STORM SYSTEM WILL BE CAPABLE
    OF PRODUCING ACCUMULATING SNOW AND GUSTY WINDS AT TIMES TO
    PORTIONS OF THE CONTINENTAL DIVIDE IN LATE THIS AFTERNOON.
    * SNOW ACCUMULATION...ADDITIONAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS AROUND ONE
    INCH ARE ANTICIPATED THIS AFTERNOON.
    * WIND...SOUTHWEST 10 TO 20 MPH WITH WIND GUSTS TO 40 MPH AT
    TIMES.
    * IMPACT...ICY...SNOW COVERED ROADS WILL RESULT IN HAZARDOUS
    TRAVEL CONDITIONS OVER THE PASSES.

  • ...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM MST THIS
    AFTERNOON...
    * LOCATION...THE MOUNTAINS ALONG THE CONTINENTAL DIVIDE.
    * CAUSE AND TIMING...A SECOND PACIFIC WEATHER DISTURBANCE WILL
    CONTINUE TO PRODUCE SNOW OVER THE MOUNTAINS ALONG THE
    CONTINENTAL DIVIDE.
    * TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATION...ADDITIONAL SNOWFALL TODAY OF 3 TO 6
    INCHES ACROSS THE HIGHER TERRAIN AND 1 TO 3 INCHES ACROSS THE
    HIGH MOUNTAIN VALLEYS. THIS WILL BRING STORM TOTAL SNOWFALL TO
    BETWEEN 1 AND 3 FEET.
    * WIND...GUSTY WEST TO SOUTHWEST AT 15 TO 35 MPH.
    * IMPACT...TRAVEL WILL BE HAZARDOUS DUE TO HEAVY...BLOWING AND
    DRIFTING SNOW...POOR VISIBILITIES AND ICY...SNOW COVERED
    ROADS.
