    ACROSS THE AREA THIS WEEKEND...BRINGING PERIODS OF SNOW TO THE
    REGION.
    * TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATION...4 TO 8 INCHES WITH LOCALLY HEAVIER
    SNOW AMOUNTS POSSIBLE.
    * WIND...NORTH 10 TO 20 MPH.
    * IMPACT...TRAVEL WILL BE HAZARDOUS DUE TO A COMBINATION OF
    HEAVY SNOW...LOW VISIBILITIES AND ICY OR SNOW COVERED ROADS.

    * CAUSE AND TIMING...A LARGE...SLOW MOVING STORM SYSTEM WILL TRACK
    ACROSS THE AREA THIS WEEKEND...BRINGING PERIODS OF SNOW TO THE
    REGION.
    * TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATION...ONE TO THREE FEET.
    * WIND...NORTHEAST 15 TO 25 MPH...GUSTING TO 35 MPH AT TIMES.
    * IMPACT...TRAVEL WILL BE HAZARDOUS DUE TO A COMBINATION OF
    HEAVY SNOW...LOW VISIBILITIES AND ICY OR SNOW COVERED ROADS.
    BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW AND NEAR WHITEOUT CONDITIONS AT
    TIMES WILL CREATE ESPECIALLY HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS OVER THE
    PALMER DIVIDE.
