    * LOCATION...THE EASTERN SAN JUAN MOUNTAINS AND THE UPPER RIO
    GRANDE VALLEY.
    * CAUSE AND TIMING...A PACIFIC STORM SYSTEM WILL MOVE ACROSS THE
    DESERT SOUTHWEST BRINGING SNOW TO THE EASTERN SAN JUANS. THE
    HEAVIEST SNOW IS EXPECTED TO FALL THROUGH THIS EVENING.
    * SNOW ACCUMULATION...6 TO 14 INCHES.
    * IMPACT...ROADS WILL REMAIN SLICK AND SNOW PACKED...ESPECIALLY
    OVER WOLF CREEK PASS.

    * LOCATION...THE EASTERN SAN JUAN AND LA GARITA MOUNTAINS ABOVE
    10000 FEET...THE EASTERN SAWATCH MOUNTAINS AND WESTERN
    MOSQUITO RANGE ABOVE 11000 FEET...AND PORTIONS OF THE SAWATCH
    MOUNTAINS BETWEEN 9000 AND 11000 FEET.
    * CAUSE AND TIMING...A STRONG UPPER LEVEL WEATHER SYSTEM WILL MOVE
    ACROSS THE AREA...PRODUCING PERIODS OF HEAVY SNOW ACROSS THE
    HIGHER ELEVATIONS OF THE CONTINENTAL DIVIDE THROUGH THIS
    MORNING.
    * SNOW ACCUMULATION...TOTAL SNOWFALL AMOUNTS OF 9 TO 15 INCHES BY
    MIDDAY TODAY.
    * WIND...NORTHWEST AT 20 TO 35 WITH GUSTS TO 50 MPH.
    * IMPACT...SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW WILL CAUSE HAZARDOUS TRAVEL
    CONDITIONS OVER THE MOUNTAIN PASSES ALONG THE CONTINENTAL
    DIVIDE...INCLUDING WOLF CREEK PASS AND MONARCH PASS.
