    THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN GRAND JUNCTION HAS ISSUED A
    WINTER STORM WATCH...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM SUNDAY MORNING
    THROUGH MONDAY AFTERNOON.
    * TIMING...SNOW IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP SUNDAY MORNING AND CONTINUE
    THROUGH MONDAY. THE HEAVIEST SNOW SHOULD FALL LATE SUNDAY
    AFTERNOON THROUGH MONDAY MORNING.
    * SNOW ACCUMULATION...10 TO 20 INCHES POSSIBLE WITH LOCALLY
    HIGHER AMOUNTS ALONG NORTHWEST FACING SLOPES.
    * WINDS...WEST 10 TO 20 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 35 MPH.
    * IMPACTS...ACCUMULATING SNOW WILL RESULT IN ICY AND SNOW PACKED
    ROADS AND HIGHWAYS...ESPECIALLY OVER THE MOUNTAIN SUMMITS. THE
    COMBINATION OF SNOW AND FOG WILL LIMIT VISIBILITY BELOW 1 MILE
    AT TIMES. AREAS OF BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW WILL OCCUR ABOVE
    TIMBERLINE.

    A WINTER STORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM FRIDAY EVENING
    THROUGH SUNDAY MORNING.
    * TIMING: FRIDAY NIGHT THROUGH EARLY SUNDAY MORNING. THE
    HEAVIEST SNOW SHOULD FALL BETWEEN MIDNIGHT FRIDAY NIGHT AND
    NOON MST SATURDAY.
    * SNOW ACCUMULATION: 8 TO 16 INCHES POSSIBLE IN THE PARK RANGE
    NEAR STEAMBOAT SPRINGS...WITH 5 TO 10 INCHES POSSIBLE ACROSS
    THE FLAT TOPS AND NEAR VAIL PASS. SNOW ACCUMULATIONS IN THE
    CITY OF STEAMBOAT SPRINGS ARE EXPECTED TO RANGE FROM 4 TO 8
    INCHES.
    * WINDS: WEST TO NORTHWEST 10 TO 20 MPH WITH GUSTS TO NEAR40
    MPH.
    * VISIBILITY: DROPPING TO UNDER ONE MILE AT TIMES IN HEAVY SNOW
    AND BLOWING SNOW.
    * IMPACTS: INTERSTATE 70 NEAR VAIL PASS AND HIGHWAY 40 OVER
    RABBIT EARS PASS WILL BECOME ICY AND SNOW PACKED.
