If they keep calling, sue them until they stop:Under the Colorado No-Call Law, businesses that contact telephone, fax or wireless numbers registered with the No-Call List may be violating the Colorado Consumer Protection Act, unless the call falls within a statutory exemption. Consumers have private remedies, such as a small claims court action, under the No-Call Law, and may recover a minimum of $500 per violation.

We said, and I couldn't agree more with you.
Personally, I think that the 2 party system is a tragedy. It's used to isolate communities, deprive Citizens of choice, and force the position of 'lesser of two evils', as both paths essentially lead to the same place: more wars, more debt, more tax, less choice, less freedom. Both are trying to legislate morality, at every level, all the way down to the family unit. Tell me, who knows better what choices that my family and I make to ensure our quality of life and us?
Over the last 10-12 years, we have seen red vs. blue, kinda like spy vs. spy. One (pick one it doesn't matter) will accuse the other of something, then the accused answers back with 'yea, but it's your fault, you a … '. I'd like to see just one debate, an honest debate, where you can only accuse that which you can prove. Alas, this is not how our system has evolved.
We have seen elected officials shot in the head, bomb threats to various campaign offices, and more blatant threats (and acts) of violence come from both sides against both sides that I'm confident that everything is proceeding exactly as planned.
I'm of the opinion that neither Romney or Obama deserve my vote. I will be voting for Gary Johnson, the Libertarian candidate. The longer we as a nation focus on calling each other names and hating each other for nothing more than political differences, the farther from grace we will fall.
It's time to actually tackle the issues. Right now. Not next year, not next term, not any time other than now. Not when one party get's back into “control” of the House or Senate. The longer we believe the lies that either bought and paid for candidates are selling, the further down the rabbit hole we go. At some point, it will truly cost us everything we hold dear, and the very premise of which this country was founded.
Live Free! Take back control of your own life and liberty, the freedom to pursue your own happiness.
One of my favorite quotes on the 2 party mess:
John Adams:“There is nothing which I dread so much as a division of the republic into two great parties, each arranged under its leader, and concerting measures in opposition to each other. This, in my humble apprehension, is to be dreaded as the greatest political evil under our Constitution.”

Seem to have lost some of my original post.
I like your message, I believe it to be a good one. I take issue only with your accreditation of the human spirit to a god rather than the human whom controls it.

Came here for the interesting title: 'Be who you iz' (well done by the way)
Had to comment due to:“You are part of the Designer’s ongoing “Original Works of Art” show.” Ongoing original works, does that include evolution?
“You have a Certificate of Authenticity and are in the Official Registry.” Is this the list the St. Peter maintains?
” You know you are an authentic production of the the Intelligent One when something inside of you screams …”
I do not agree with your religious perspective, although I absolutely respect your right to believe what you wish.
Samuel Clemens (“Mark Twain”) has an interesting take on this idea: “Man is a marvelous curiosity … he thinks he is the Creator's pet … he even believes the Creator loves him; has a passion for him; sits up nights to admire him; yes and watch over him and keep him out of trouble. He prays to him and thinks He listens. Isn't it a quaint idea.”
Thomas Edison also tackles the question w/ this response: “I cannot believe in the immortality of the soul…. No, all this talk of an existence for us, as individuals, beyond the grave is wrong. It is born of our tenacity of life – our desire to go on living … our dread of coming to an end.”
What if I don't believe that everything in this world created by a god waving his fingers around? What if I refuse to believe that that which motivates me: my desire to be good, to do good, and to be better tomorrow than I am today doesn't come from a god, but rather love of people, community, and country?

You can't have it both ways … You cannot hang this around the teacher's necks and give a free pass to the administration, even though your trying very hard to do just that.
Let me ask you this: Where is your commitment to your educational system Al Cashion? Where is your commitment to the children? You say “The editorial board is not trying to take anything away from the teaching profession.”, yet you go right ahead and run those same teachers into the dirt without looking at those who control the purse strings. This lacks any degree of class or understanding of the situation.
This is what happens when the community (or newspaper) that a school system serves, relentlessly hounds the teachers, and gives the administration a free pass, time and time again.
I'm embarrassed that it takes a football game; not State scores, not graduation rates, not college entrance rates, not student learning, not drugs, not teen pregnancy, not number of students per class … none of these things seem to matter, as long as you have a nice football field and a good game to watch.
You want excellence, how about you show up to the school board meetings, get involved w/ the teachers and coaches and demand it? Why don't you contribute $20, $30, $40 to this? It's for the kids, where is your commitment to excellence Al?
The teachers do not set the budget, nor do they handle staffing levels or controll funding of any kind. I don't think that they are in charge of the football field or the bleachers either. You should redirect your disappointment to the school board and administration, where it aptly belongs. They waste more money than you could possible understand, yet they seem to always get the free pass. It must be the teachers.
Where is your commitment to excellence Al? To me you look like that monkey sitting on one side of the fence flinging poo just for a laugh.
I'm off to go find something else to blame the teachers for … how about water being wet. I really hate that the water is wet, must be the teacher's fault, but I'm not blaming the teachers.
or see results without voting.
