I agree with ranger520, I see no honor in driving a fire dept vehicle everywhere he goes. I also think the mill levy must be too high if they are able to have such a large surplus. But it won't be high enough when they spend all they have in surplus plus try to maintain both facilities.
All the talk of coal mines closing means a lot of people will be leaving here. Look at the parking lots at the grocery stores, it is scary, but hey Craig will have two fire stations a new hospital and empty schools…I won't care because my tax dollars will no longer be supporting any of it (including the new welfare tax) on my property tax notice. I, and so will many others, go where the community we support also supports us.

SO they buy the Remax building and pay how much to customize it and so on and so forth. The purchase price is FAR from the bottom dollar. And MoCo4life comment should be put on the front page to refresh a few memories!

I can just see what is coming…the economy is in the toilet, but lets tax these poor Craig fools some more and get us a new police station….It is SOO easy to spend money that doesn't belong to you. I for one will not give my vote to a single current city counselor. Maybe they should move back to the north side of 1st street and back to city hall.

a little common sense goes a looong way! We have at least 4 bedded down in our back yard every winter….Our three dogs either have no problem sharing or have sense enough to keep their distance. I am happy to say my kids have the good sense!

what IS SAD is that we are not allowed to know who it is, unless we contact Denver…..and even those who are convicted of these crimes still are allowed to live near schools. I wish they would have kept this person In Mesa county.

all the articles I am seeing are about crack heads from somewhere else…getting sent here to CAPPS and staying here. Everyone wants to celebrate recovery..well that's fine BUT I think it is time the daily press does some up front in your face articles about those who have chosen to live life FREE of drugs in the first place!

well I'd be interested in who is “supposedly” dishonest…and what facts helped form the opinion? I think if there is truth to this everyone should know as it would affect our opinions also.
