I have girls who played and they were given an hour intermission. My friends daughter on another team also had an hour intermission. I can't speak for the others, but these two teams did have breaks that evening. I agree playing until midnight was ridiculous to me, but my kids didn't complain. As far as brackets or drawing from a hat, bottom line is it was double elimination…lose two games and you are out. I don't understand the remark about 1st and second place teams? My understanding was all games up to the tournament were practice. My kids were never told a score, it was all about learning and having fun. Perhaps Natasha could do a better job than parks and rec, but I certainly could not. Perhaps she should not participate in their program in the future.

@Thefatguy…is that true about not having the right to enter private property? It seems like it should be, so how do they get away with it? Shameful I think, but losers have to justify their running around and their paycheck right?? What a waste…this code enforcement

Are you kidding me???? Oh no of course not…only in Craig Colorado would anyone print such a disrespectful piece of trash as this article. You should be ashamed, and someday you too will be judged by the one who counts.

I agree with David…what has happened is tragic…but then again so are car accidents…do we ban driving? It is time for common sense to prevail.

    Thank You Mr. Pleasant…
however I think we all know how this will play out. At least you spoke up, I am ashamed to say I feel that speaking out would not serve my family well and I have to wonder how many others feel the same.

I agree with justoncrack; and taxpayers statements seem very wise….perhaps the media should post some facts. The way I read it, it seemed like the VFW are the only ones who ever got free utilities.
it seems in all recent controversies the City are the ones who don't play well with others….I am ashamed to say I voted for two of the council members…when is the next election, I need to rectify my mistake.
Also IMO….the money being used by the city is taxpayer money isn't it???? Taxpayers should have a voice then, yes?
I thank God for Veteran's every day.

What is considered downtown? I consider Yampa Avenue, which has two way traffic, downtown, but parkiing is such a pain…it is easier to head out to WalMart. Yet if you look at several of the businesses, the shop owners are parked right out front, what are they thinking?

reading this reminds me of trying to talk to a drunk…..
bottom line IMO (mine, just mine) at least we know where this guy is and what he looks like. Your own neighbor could be a pervert who hasn't been caught, so has not yet been labeled sex offender for everyone to judge. Educate your children and pray they stay safe, it is obvious the courts can't lock all of them up.
