Also MOM……..instead of being more concerned about your grandson reading comments about his mom and how damaging some can be, you should be concerned about how the actions of your daughter and the way she lives her life is damaging and hurting him! If you're going to pull the crap that she did, then you better expect for people to talk about you! She gave everybody plenty to talk about. And are you aware that Ken helped Tausha to break the law and her probation by giving her info so she can pass, then turned around and supplied her with alcohol? So he could sleep with her? So what exactly are you thanking him for? Instead of making light of her crimes, you should just hope that she turns her life around, (after she does her time) and accept what she did and admit to yourself how shameful it all was. Your posting here actually has made things worse. You both need to accept the consequences.

Wow! That is so messed up! I just hate it when parents like you defend your kids when you really shouldn't. You make it sound like she only made a couple of little mistakes. She made a ton of mistakes! And you kind of excuse her affair because alot of other 'evil' people are doing it. What? Does that make it ok? Or a little less bad? Try telling that to Johnsons wife, oh wait, she died! OOps. Try apologizing to Kathy Johnson for the pain your daughter caused her! And did you actually read all the investigating reports, especially the ones that read word for word your daughters nasty text messages to Ken? If you didn't, you really should. Now thats I daughter a person could really be proud of! And I don't think she actually graduated from drug court on 'her own' like you said. She had a lot of help from Ken! Maybe thats why your thanking him? Wow, again, that is so messed up!

I saw this coming from the onset. I knew he wouldn't get punished. Come on folks, are you really surprised? Think of all the dirt that Johnson knows on lots of people in all the agencies…. He would've had to implicate alot of people, and no doubt he would've to save his own hide. The DA's office as well might've been implicated. It would've brought down the whole house! So they let him off easy so they could all keep their jobs. I agree that Vanetta should be fired, and Snow should be as well. “A benefit to the community” What a joke! I was certainly hoping that they would be able to clean house with this case but……… now I fear what other officers are going to do, knowing that they pretty much will get away with absolutely everything

How moronic can you be Nancy? You dare to write a letter about your angelic son who's been known to throw hell a shish parties at your house? Didn't some girl get her teeth knocked out at your house? Didn't someone else fall off your porch and break their wrists? I hope Officer Bagley makes a lot of drive bys in your neighborhood during spring break and upcoming graduation parties! Oh, the pain to be inconvenienced to show up in court and have to pull your angelic son out of school. :-)

Kudos to City Council! CPDept, as well as the Sherriffs office and the DA office all lack credibility. Why haven't we heard result on Kathy Johnsons autopsy? Surely its completed by now? I read the arrest papers that some other posted on here to access. It was quite the reading material. Some pretty depraved human beings that Johnson and Merwin! Just after reading about Wigins complaints and the so called followup investigation, made my blood boil that Vanatta and DeLong couldn't, wouldn't, didn't fire his a**! So come on Daily Press, lets get that autopsy report out there.

I agree with onewhocares on all points he/she mentioned. Yes, there was very incriminating news the pd did nothing to stop it. I like how in the city council meeting that 'Herod' questioned Vanetta how his department couldn't find enough proof, yet when he looked trough the papers he saw proof everywhere! And another councilmember questioned if Delong was qualified to even run an internal investigation? Says alot about his investigation doesn't it? Did the CPD also do their own internal investigation when another dirty cop was paid drug money to look the other way a few years back? That guy was able to resign, no charges, no nothing. How does that happen? Maybe dirty cop was going to bring down some bigger names with him so they just swept him under the rug quietly? That whole department needs to clean house, so does the sherriffs office, and the DA'S. If it brings down the whole roof, then so be it! And they wonder why people generally dont trust them? I for one will see this as a travesty of justice if they don't start at the very top and work their way down. Why do you think we have such a big drug problem? The DA's and the judges let them plea bargain and slap their wrists. People in this town are sick of whats been going on for far too long. Everybody would be shocked if they only knew who all is involved in this drug city.

Congratulations Miss Corson, you're letter is hypocricy at its best! You, of all people dare to write about underage drinking? Seriously? How many MIPS have your kids both had? In and out of your house no less. Too many people in this small town know your familys history! Sounds like you want a free pass on parenting and not be held accountable for your own poor choices. But I guess you can say what you want, after all you work at the jail and nothing will ever happen to you or yours, now will it? (like your kid getting arrested and his name magically didn't appear in the paper!) People like you who have no room to talk, shouldn't!

Shame on the Daily Press for making its newspaper into a police report! Has anyone noticed that thats all thats printed in there lately? Now they get ahold of affadavits and print what they read in them! Suspects lie throught their teeth in their police interviews to save their own a**! so when the Press prints that, then thats what everyone thinks really happened! Quit printing crap like that! And I think its really strange how the Police arrested thre4 young thugs and none of the other guys?

quickgetaway…”hire good lawyer and sue the homeowners insurance company.”
Out of all the posts on this subject, notice that you're the only one that mentions 'sue'.? Its exactly a******s
like you that have ruined America. Sue whenever you can. You don't think that family got hit hard enough already? They will have to pay all the medical bills and have their dogs put down. But thats not good enough for scumbags like you? I hope that something happens in your lifetime that it turns around on you and you get your pants sued off! You sound exactly like the fat pig that just moved out of Craig. She was sue happy too, and everybody hates her.
