Apparently, you didn't have the same teachers I had. I had some great teachers that taught me so much. I have lived here for 34+ years. I proudly graduated from MCHS and my kids will graduate in the coming years. I have, also, worked at and volunteered in our schools so I do know about some of the imperfections in our school district. However, 90% of the employees are good at what they do. They are invested in their jobs and our children. I know they are not perfect (Who is? Not you or your run on sentence. Not me.). As with any company or business, there is always some weeding out that needs to be done, especially, when it comes to teachers texting instead of teaching. But I digress........my first and foremost point was that the Craig Daily Press should be doing a story on the AD at MCHS not the old one (who didn't get what he whined for) or on any number of teachers, aides, and coaches who give so much of themselves to their students, our children!
Are you kidding? Why would CDP write a story about a guy who was never fully invested in MOCO? Why would anyone around here care? He lived here for 5 minutes. Why not write about the many teachers who work for our District that are alumni? They obviously thought MOCO was good enough to come back to work for and to raise their own families here! How about supporting and maintaining that support for your own MOCO residents (NOT Morgan County). All you haters are more than welcome to leave! We don't want ya around here. B'bye!!
Read Amy Hamilton's story in the Sentinal on 11/14/09 on how she was able to obtain a card. Voters everywhere have been duped.
I know how every 18 has a right to vote. I don't think this law passed because of the 35 or older crowd. A lot of those kids would have never voted if it weren't for legalizing MM. Don't kid your self, you're not kidding me.
I hope the DA has the sense to NEVER offer Ken a deal. Lock him up and throw away the key! I wish the Daily Press could run a different pic of him that arrogant smirk makes me sick.
I think everyone who called the councilman a "Moron" owes him an apology. Shame on you! And as far as throwing the "thousands of Coloradoans who voted for" this stinky law. You cannot hide behind that number because you could tell by interviews given on TV that many of the people who went to vote during that election had never voted before. I wll go as far to guess that Colorado had many, many younger (college age) voters. Probably more than ever before. So don't hide behind that. I doubt very few people that did vote for the law had a legitimate reason. I pesonally, would never want any person in my family to suffer but never would want them to turn to MJ. I watched my Grandmother in a great deal of pain in her last months but never heard her want for a drug that kills as many braincells as MJ.
I am NOT attacking the Pharmacist. I am against some idiot off of the street that runs a legal dispensary because of a state law. I am asking how the dispenser knows when a prescription and MM is going to have horrible side effects?!? He or she won't have a clue and neither will the consumer.
Soooo...your pharmacist gives you demerol and your dipensary gives you your pot ummm.. how does this help you? Does your "legal dealer" know what complications could arise from your prescriptions and your MM?
I knew a smart handsome football player in HS because he used every now and again, he was an addict before we graduated. Now he can't stop shaking and his communication is odd at it's best. That's what legalizing this stuff will do. That is why he has "clabber for brains".
I think everyone who is for this needs to take a step back and ask themselves for an honest answer about why you want MM here. I believe it is so you can get high with the law backing you. If you are really in pain-- I am truly sorry but I don't believe MM is your answer.
Ummmm, I was just there a few days ago and didn't notice the work done. Please research your stories better.
It is wonderful to see all the support Kathie has. I just wish she were here.
FYI- You can leave a message, photo, or story at www.kathielynnjohnson.com
You most certainly did not need to present the story in the manner in which you did. It is a miniscule part of her story and should have received miniscule coverage. If it was that important to put in black and white then it should have read; Kathie was Ken Johnson's soon to be ex wife.
