Wow, Paul awesome and very well put letter (though I know Neil has good intentions). I could not agree with you more.

Somewhere along the line, people were brainwashed & controlled into thinking that being controlled by a religious organization and not being able to think on their own or believe on their own, hence the need for a man made bible (torah, etc) to tell him how they should feel and think and act, makes them better in the eyes of God.

This I believe will be the biggest illusion and falsehood in man's existence and for billions will shatter the worlds of those who fell under this veil, that was not of God.

How is it, that many tribal civilizations were here for thousands & thousands of years (the Australian Aborigines for one, not to mention our own Native Ameicans), and left the earth as pure and untouched as when they were born-then the white Christians & Catholics show up, brutally murder everyone, including the souls of all the primitive tribes, leading now to a earth that is almost non-liveable for humans, yet everyone is "Christian." Are those following the Bible from Heaven or from Hell, cause I sure don't see anything Heavenly about followers then or now or the path of destruction left behind to all our native cultures or to our earth.

You go Alfredo!!! Shoot for D1 running because I have no doubt you would rock! It's exciting you are going to Garden City, but you have the ability to go the distance, so I say shoot for the moon babe.

Our love and spirit.

From, Friends in Fort Collins who watched you grow up in Craig

The man should have gone to prison in 2005, when his now ex-wife had perfect bruises of two hands around her neck that he inflicted on her. What is it going to take for the law to become pro-active before he kills someone or most likely another lady?

onewhocares 2 years, 6 months ago on What area would you most like to see Moffat County School District administrators address this summer in preparation for next school year?

High graduation rates are great, but not at the expense of dumming down the whole district to make that happen, which is what is happening now.

The district as a whole from the early years on to high school needs to become much tougher and progressive, to keep up with the education in other parts of the state, thus eliminating all the kids that graduate high school here, go to college then drop out within the first year or two, because they are soooo far behind the other kids. Sadly, my daughter who graduated MCHS in 2008, went off to CSU with a number of students from here and only 3 graduated in 2012 from CSU Fort Collins, the rest dropping out. To me, that is terribly sad and should not be the case.

Despite the fact, that a lot of us don't particularly care for the attitude of Steamboat (including me), their school district curriculum is really great & I am not sure why we are not learning from them, when they are only a town away. I think the Moffat School Board Administration needs to put their pride & egos aside for the sake of the children, and go to their neighbors and see what they are doing that the students are coming out soooo far ahead of us. I do know this, my son who had a 4.0 here & never studied, went over to Steamboat for half a year, and instantly began having to study 2-3 hours a night, barely making A's and even getting a few hard earned B's because the expectations were so much higher there. They should be just as high here-period.

The reality is, it is the school district's responsibility to prepare the students for a successful higher education, not just to graduate a high number of students to make the reports look good. The harsh reality is, there are a number of kids who will drop out, but that is their and their parents choice, which should not effect the kids who really want to learn & be competitive outside Moffat County.

First of all, I'm against all the nightclubs to begin with because I don't see one positive thing about any of them, except to encourage alcoholism & wasting money that could go for much healthier activities.

With that said, isn't there another nightclub owner who recently made the paper for failing to pay approx $11,000 in taxes and was also charged with hit & run?

Is this about Tarango's dishonesty or about the other night club owner's not wanting competition? Just wondering.

*** (If you're honest & admit you defrauded the federal government of $11,000.00 of taxes, or charged with hit and run into someone, but admit to it, it's okay? Am I missing something here? Seems, neither owner should qualify for a liquor license. Both seem to have ethical & honesty issues)

onewhocares 2 years, 7 months ago on After five deaths in five years, should Craig city officials move forward with safeguards and/or improvements to the sandrocks area in Craig?

Unfortunately, blocking the trail will not stop people from killing themselves, so why take away one of the only really nice hiking places in Craig due to others carelessness or lack of desire to live?

You can't try to keep saving people from themselves. It's their choice to live or die.

Secondly, I know from working in a gorgeous State Park, people often go to their favorite beautiful spot to kill themselves and sadly these cliffs happen to be one of the few pretty spots around Craig - thus explaining why so many die here. Living near them is a hazard of the territory & deaths here will probably continue to occur. Sad times, when so many want to die, instead of living.

onewhocares 2 years, 7 months ago on Do you agree with Colorado Parks and Wildlife's decision to euthanize an adult male bear inside Craig city limits based on the agency's "two strikes" policy?

Brian, just out of curiosity, why are you soooo defensive? Why are you defending getting rid of the sex offenders & drug dealers that I am referring to? And why can't you see the bigger picture outside of yourself, that everyone on this planet having as many kids as they want is creating a horrible over population problem. I do know that sometimes it is mentally "safer" to have a very narrow view of the world & one's place in it," but it's time everyone wakes up to understand we are all connected and that means to everything (even the 4 legged ones). Humans are like cancer cells. It's okay to have one or two floating around the body, but when that cancer cell begins to multiply over & over, that cancer cell destroys everything around it just as we have done to the environment..

And yes, my views are harsh, but sadly the brutal truth. If speaking the truth makes me evil, then call me evil. As I learned in my genocide series in college, the Nazis referred to the Jews as evil to justify killing them, and our government referred to the Native Americans as "savages & evil" to justify wiping them out. Brian, speaking the truth doesn't make a person "evil." What we've done to the environment & how we treat ourselves (with drug & alcohol abuse) and others & how we've compromised our ethics and soul to survive in our world is what is evil.

Please tell me Ranger 520, what do I not have? I truly want to know, because it is sooo obvious to me what I wrote, yet soooo few seem to have put the pieces together as to the cause & effect of man and our relationship to the the earth (Creator's greatest masterpiece ).

And please don't say, God or Jesus will save us, cause God gave us everything we needed to survive & we (myself included) took those gifts and destroyed them by driving cars, living in big houses, & having children adding to the gross overpopulation problem. (Note: every single generation has said "Jesus will save us." Well, as history as shown, I think the Native Americans, Jews, Ugandans, Cambodians, the millions of fish & animals dying en masse now and many others who have experienced genocides would disagree). There's a saying that I think couldn't be more accurate "God helps those who help themselves" & if we don't grasp that concept & change our thinking very soon & learn to respect and live with the earth instead of against the earth, we truly are all going to die a very bad death, from mass starvations, disease (especially cancers), and just the earth turning against us - plain & simple.

Now, tell me what don't I get? I promise, I will listen.
