The all famous saying in this town is 'i will have to order it'. that is so frustrating when you need an item now. Also, the bigger cities seem to be cheaper! Why is that? Just saying. Indoor community pool would open up a lot of options for so many things. for young and older.

I am one of those who will only buy the gas I need to get to a station that is less expensive. I'll buy 5 or 10 gallons to get me to the nearest station then fill er up. It drives my wife nuts but I save a little at the pump.

I just dont understand why our gas and diesel prices are always so much higher than almost anywhere I've been. I travelled through Laramie last week, gas prices were $2.31 a gallon for regular unleaded. While here its $3.31 or more! Someone please tell me the justification for that!I joke with my wife that someday I'm going to put a cross bed fuel tank in my pickup and just drive around buying less expensive fuel and storing it at our house. But now I'm thinking more seriously about that!

I agree with that! We all know parents are buying alcohol for underage kids already. I would rather see a law enforced about that. Kids can only be kids for 18 years. Adult life is hard. I say let the kids be kids while they can. They will be adults soon enough. They also need boundries set as children so they can survive as an adult. This is not a boundry, its letting the kids have what they want without thinking of the aftermath.

not too sure how I feel about this. It has the good and bad in it. Are the parents ready to be responsible if something happens to thier child? Then on the flip side, thier kids are 18 or older and do it anyway. Is this the 'if you can't beat them , join them' law? Is the 'drink' really that important?

I thank you for your service as a police officer cmawest. I agree with most of your points except one.Yes the government should focus on or economy. Its tanking fast. But I dont think it a knee jerk reaction to “senseless” killings. Haven't you been watching the news? How many more killing or attempted mass killing has there been inthe last 30 days?I just think something is going on in our country. I dont know why its happening but its freaking me out.I am a father to 6 children and a step father of 3. Now my wife and I are pleased as punch that we are now grandparents. SO call it the grandfather punch in the gut. But I really worry about what our kids and grandkids will have to endure in the future. luv them kids!!

I agree Greystone. Take away guns, they will use knives. Take away kives they use explosives. Man was using rocks and sticks in the beginning. I think we should look at better mental health programs. Maybe mandating that medications for mental health patients be more affordable or even free to the ones who cant afford them. I mean I have never heard of a person with normal mental health ever killing several people just because they were angree at their mother or something.

Its a shame that the criminals have better access to the high power assault type weapons than our law enforcement. I have family in law enforcement and they have told me that on several occations they have been out gunned. And the only way they were able to defeat the felon is because of there sheer numbers and coordination. If there had been several well trained gunman it would have been a masacre.I guess that i feel the gun control should cover hand guns and assault weapons. Not hunting rifles and shotguns or archery.

I do not support a blanket gun control law. I believe that guns are an important part of our culture. Used for hundreds of years to protect our country and put food on our tables.I do, however, question why an average citizen would want a hand gun or firearm that would put the same weapons our law enforcement use to shame. I cannot understand why someone would need a full automatic weapon in personal armory.I am an honorable discharged desert storm vet. I qualified expert on my side arm and my rifle, as well as being a decorated gunner on an M1-A1 tank. So I do understand the place these weapons have.So can someone please tell me the importance of these battle weapons that some people own for their pesonal use?

I cant believe what I just read from cag81625! If I read it correctly they are saying the people of Craig America are incapable of raising normal healthy children. That nobody is as good at raising children as they are! If you really think we are a bunch of back woods rednecks that got our child rearing skills watching WWE and racing monster truck races then why not move back to the city where you probably came from?!I will tell you from experience that the reason there is more cases reported is because our current director of social services automatically turns any report from the schools or doctor over to the district attorny. The schools are pressured, no intimidated, into reporting every little thing a child does or face repercussions from the county and state Then once they are in your life they will do just about everything to make you look like the worst parent on the planet in the court room. And then they make you jump through a million hoops to prove you are a good parent, but even then they just aren't quite sure if its a good idea for them to let you raise your own family without supervision because we all are just too incompitant to keep the child from killing themself.I will say to any person who thinks that they are the absolute best parent on the planet and we all should learn from you, You better clean your own kitchen before you start judging others.
