Privet is hello in Russian. Why can't they post a hello sign on public land?
That's straight up Yogi Bear stuff!
Well said, cory5611!
"I messed up my entire life because I got high
I lost my kids and wife because I got high
now I'm sleeping on the sidewalk and I know why
- cause I got high"
Actually, I'm all for this now we can tax it.
The government is not at the court house, the goverment is the court house.
I think Bouchard is right. Homeland Security probable was there. I'm sure podunk Craig is on the top of their watch list. And if Fox news said it, it must be true. This is like something out of a South Park Episode, and it makes laugh. ahahahahahah!!!!!!!
If you hate the government so bad move to a different country.
A gym in a school and a recreation center are two completely different things, and one cannot be substitute for the other. Recreation centers have weights, cardiovascular machines, a basketball courts, an indoor pool, meeting areas, daycare sections, game rooms for older kids, and so on. If the school district is including that stuff in their gym, I'm all for it, although it's highly unlikely. The way I understand it, is the school district is proposing just a bigger basketball court style gym. That doesn't really do the majority of the town any good.
I agree if we build a recreation center, it's unlikely that the people of Craig will use it like they should. Which is a shame, because the money spent on gym memberships to stay healthy is far less than the money you will spend on medical bills. This town has the ability to pay for and support a recreation center. The only problem is, so many don't see the positive side to having one. They hear TAX increase and they're out.
I think they should go out and look at the roads aging, they're not plowed very well.
Yampa Valley Medical Center I my first choice!
Wait....What? I don't think Ken Salazar had any influence on the school districts choice to put this in. I think you want the political section of the newspaper.
