The 359 megawatts of solar energy capacity can power those 68,600 homes while the sun is shining. At night and on cloudy days, you need coal fired power plants.
Thank you for that response Noelle.
Wow, for real they CHARGE for printing obituaries? I agree that's pretty underhanded!
That's pretty darn impressive! Congratulations Anna, it's a tribute to the great parents you have!
Great news. With Lianes experience as a teacher, does that mean if you buy a book she is going to expect a book report on it a couple of weeks later?
Very good point Benjie!
You would think fire flies in Colorado would be an impossible expectation, but alas there is an option. There is a hot spring at the north end of the San Luis valley (north of Alamosa) called Valley View. Years ago someone from the Midwest released a jar full of the critters and they not only managed to survive, but they thrived. It is an awesome experience in the late spring/early summer to be soaking in one of the springs with a spectacular view of the entire valley and then see the dance of fire flies add to the ambiance.
Hey, we're doing just fine from the revenue that liquor stores bring in on beer, wine, and hard liquor. Not to mention the tax revenue we get from the sale of cigarettes. We don't need additional tax revenue to squander (or perhaps fund worthwhile projects).
Or what?.....They will put your phone number into the Political ads calling list and continue bombarding you with ALL of the political calls even AFTER the election!!
Hmm.. A French restaurant in Craig....isn't that like opening a Neiman Marcus in Meeker? (just kidding)
