That is a good idea eieiolrighty. The uniforms are pretty bad and the “cotton uniforms” bought for the seventh grade volleyball team were simply blue t-shirts with numbers on them. I think fundraising and holding camps would be a good idea, I hope the school follows through with it.

This is pathetic!!! Another program to reward kids for doing the right thing is ruined because of the stupid actions of others.

Native_craig_guy your post is right on and I couldn't agree with you more. Hopefully when she is done getting her slap on the hand, she and Ken Johnson will leave and make this a better community for the rest of us.

I am glad to see Kerry running as it does give us another choice. The arrogance displayed by Tom Mathers' response to having competition proves to me that he is not someone that I want representing me. I realize that the economy is bad everywhere and that if things are so bad here as well, then it is time for a change. Time to let someone new who is not content with the status quo step in. Good luck Kerry!! One last comment to justthefacts I have read your comment numerous times to try to make sense of it and all I can say is HUH??? (Of course maybe that is your point)

Congratulations Mrs. Arnett!! This project has been very exciting for the kiddos as well. Our son would come home and tell us about all of the things that he was learning. He loved being involved with this project. Thank you so much for all that you do for our children, and putting their education as a priority. We look forward to seeing you again this fall and good luck in South Africa!

All day kindergarten is fantastic. My daughter who is in Mrs. Linsacum's class has shown tremendous improvement, and we have been amazed at how quickly she has learned. When she started kindergarten we were concerned as parents because when we worked on the letters with her she would simply say I don't know and no matter how much we worked with her, it just didn't click. Now three months into school not only does she know her whole alphabet, but last week she came home from school grabbed a notebook and started writing a story using full sentences. We have been blown away by the progress.
I would like to thank Mr Zach Allen and Mrs. Linsacum and all of the others who worked so hard to get the full day kindergarten started here in Craig. Our daughter has truly been blessed by their hard work. Thank you.

I have to agree with some of the comments above. One bad apple should not destroy the reputation of the entire law enforcement. I have worked with the law enforcement many times and have always been thankful for their help and the safety that they have provided. Tbe decisions of Mr. Johnson were wrong and corrupt and I think it is great that he is going to be held accountable for the things which he has done. Cindylou, your comment rings true all to often and I am sure that you have learned first hand how things like this can destroy a persons life, marriage and family.

I agree with you cowgirlmc, but they do this in my hometown every year for the fair, and you would not believe how many people they still catch drinking and driving. Although the people know that there is a check point, they still are arrogant enough to think they won't get caught. Isn't it great what alcohol does to your judgement?? Also the first year that my hometown did this the people that were caught and charged filed a lawsuit against law enforcement stating that the check point was not fair because there was no warning, and they won. So now law enforcement has to announce that there will be a checkpoint every year, so that those drinking and driving have fair warning and can devise another route so they do not get caught.
