Ahhh ... we resort to name calling when we can't compete intellectually.
That's why I live in Craig.
Yes, I am a terrorist. An online terrorist who seeks to rid the world (Craig) of ignorance!
"Boy, oh boy, this is gonna be great!"
- Flounder, 1974
Ha ha ha ... boy you guys are great.
I love the Mathers clan banding together as if they own the town. Too funny.
Let me address some things:
Patrick - typing and spelling "are" not the most important things in life - in your opinion.
Education is a very important "tool" as well, and I suggest you visit CNCC to fill up your belt.
Please in your next thread, explain how I am a facist, what a facist is and how that would have any affect on you.
As far as your other assumptions, you are way off base as I have done plenty of manual labor.
However, I do realize that it's harder to be smart than it is to push a pile of dirt with an end loader.
And as far as drug tests are concerned, you do realize a cottage industry has been created to beat tests - (It's used by most of the smart employees who don't feel it's the employee's right to judge what they do on their own time). Synthetic urine - please educate yourself.
50Cal - I really don't think you should use "laid" and "Christina" in the same sentence.
You know how she got her husband ... from her "best" friend.
I love Craig. I AM a Craigite.
I mean, I IS a Craigite.
Ooooohhhh ... the Craigites are up in arms!!!
First off, it's a ganga bus, not a gonga bus. And it's benefit, not benifit.
I'm not a snob ... although being critical of people in this day and age for their ignorance must label you one (if you believe John McCain).
Now onto facts:
Check the suicide statistics, folks. The Western Slope makes up a higher percentage than anywhere else in the state.
Is this making any sense? Is it coherent?
Having lived in Craig, I know as a fact, there are a lot of conservative, white trash rednecks who reside there. Apparently, a few of those intolerant "snob labelers" even post on this forum - albiet poorly and often including spelling errors that Katie herself could probably figure out.
I know there are a number of wonderful people in Craig as well.
As far as giving the Front Range back to Kansas ... I didn't know that was an option.
After living in Craig, it's very similar to the towns in Western Kansas - albiet more isolated and slightly more transient.
I had read once that Craig may declare it's own independence from the U.S.A., so maybe there is some cred to what Granny Rhett (er, Mathers) said about giving away part of the state.
If so, Garth Brooks' "Friends in Low Places" will play over and over as the new Craig national anthem.
Of course, we'll have to have something playing on the big screen on the east side of town (unless you want to give that part of Craig to Kansas, too?)
So I suggest, reruns of the "Dukes of Hazzard," or non-stop videos of Toby Keith and Ted Nugent supporting W. for a third term.
God Bless America ... and please God, try to help Craig.
Peace, love, dope.
Awww. Altitude Adjustment ... if you only knew.
I certainly don't live in Craig and yes, I am an excellent writer.
Actually, made quite a bit of money at it, only have flipped burgers in my kitchen and suicide has never crossed my mind. That's more a Western Slope chic thang for white trash rednecks and Wrangler wearers.
So ... I will continue to post here. I will continue to voice my opinion as to the childlike-nature of these goofy columns and the lack of thought (well, not for most Craigites) that goes into them.
I can't wait to hear what happens next week as those tots trollop through the trailer court.
Peace out folks ... and remember to smoke your kind buds!
Barking daughter on a leash ... perhaps someone should call CPS.
At least there weren't any words "spelt" wrong this week.
P.S. Keep that "dog" from chasing deer.
I'll make sure I have a joint before I read this next week.
Also, didn't they get rid of this broad because of errors like this:
The pillows were a was better use of my money.
Please, please, please shoot me before I have to read about that kid again.
What ever happened to wild beasts attacking people in the desert?
Here's an idea for your next camping trip:
The Denver Zoo
You have got to be kidding me.
Sounds like someone has some control issues they need to work out.
That poor kid.
