Craig code enforcement at its finest ! Give someone a badge and a bit of power, and they have to harrass someone to make themselves feel Big
AND to justify their position and salary
So they are harrassing this elderly man over a situation that has been there for 40 years ??
Of course, the City Council likely won't keep their word, everyone knows you don't have to live up to that forever, the City has the right to change their mind, ya know. (or so they'll rule)
Leave the man and his horses alone, for once live up to what prior Councils said they would do

For a year or more, i have been hearing that “We MUST do everything we can to make sure Ritter is a one-term Governor”. That was before all the real economics turndowns actually began. It is much worse now.
It seems we have a President AND a Governor who don't give one iota about people's lives and goals. They have a Green Agenda that we're going to take whether we like it or not!
I have heard it called “trickle up poverty” !! Wouldn't that make a good Bumper Sticker!
I read Polls that indicated between 80% and 90% of the American people were against the Bank and Auto Bailouts. How many does it take to make it a public mandate?
We keep hearing about the ECO- freaks like, Ritter & Obama. But they are willing to trade one ECO off for another, that one being ECOnomics.
Even fools like the Clinton's got elected while spouting the phrase “Its the ECOnomy, STUPID!” Well, Mr Ritter & Mr Obama, Its STILL the ECOnomy, STUPID !!!
Let's make sure Both are one termers and boot them out of public office forever.

i have lived in Moffat Co all my life, am currently a struggling local energy worker, and i wish to set the record straight as to what Ms Brinks is saying. Take Oil & Gas drilling for example: Right now, Colorado is considered a very poor place to drill because of the new Regulations passed last year. There is a lot of industry scuttlebutt about Moffat County and Visual Lease overvaluing property so high, that many Energy Companies no longer desire to do business in moffat county . In other words, Moffat Co. has become way overpriced to work in.
It is easy to raise the valuation of Tri-State generation by another $7 Million, but do you realize they are the Number One Taxpayer in Moffat County already? It's easy to say “Let them pay, they're a big company and they can afford it” as everyone should pay their fair share, and that only. But is Ms Brinks and her hired gun from Oklahoma “Killing the Goose that lays the Golden Eggs”; by driving good jobs for locals away?
Maybe everyone who is out of work in Craig should get a job at the County in some position or another, then one won't have to worry about any of this unimportant stuff, like outside companies investing and spending big dollars in Moffat County, or Not!
If Moffat Co loses these better paying jobs, then housing prices will really fall, as people and businesses move away to find work elsewhere. If that's what the people of Craig truly want, then turn Ms Brinks loose on them, cause that's what they will get. Its time to use a little common sense and reign her in.
