I did not have a child play in this softball tournament. However, when I heard about the long & late hours these kids played I was appalled! As a parent you have every right to be upset.

There may be more to this story than what is in our paper, however I am sure I don't want to hear about it. cmommy, you say this man needs help. Apparently he does. According to this article he was arrested in March on suspicion of sexual assault, December 2011 for child pornography, prior to that “facing four charges of sexual assault on a child in Fremont County stemming from an investigation predating”. So when you say he needs help. That help should have come a long time ago, before he ever even decided to “act”. At this point I feel your anger is being misplaced. You can get mad at people all you want. Your real anger should be to the man who let you & society down. Its time for this POS to be put away for a VERY long time for the safety of all children. As a mom (which I assume you are because of your login name) it is your sole job to protect your children, if you don't then who will?

I agree, sentence them to life or give them dealth. That would decrease the crimes and keep them from reoffending! I would also like to know why a name hasn't been released? Why are we protecting this criminal when our own children were not protected?

Everyone in Craig wil be affected by this new bill, if power plants switch to natural gas. Less demand for coal = less workers employeed = less spending in our community. Not only spending in our stores & resturants, but health care as well. Then goes the houseing market as residents who were employeed by these mines start moving else where for jobs. I appreciate clean air as much as everyone else but there are other avenues here. This is not good for Colorado & this is not good for Craig!

Wow! Seems some people have lots of time on their hands. I think we have gotten a little off topic here. We should probably act like adults!

Speaking as a dog owner. If my dogs ever acted this way I would not let them back into my home. My dogs are a part of my family. But it is my job to protect my children. It is very difficult to loose a pet and my heart goes out to this family for your lost. But I would never risk having this kind of situation again, next time the outcome could be worst. All pet owners out there should take responsibility and keep your pets either on a lease or in a fenced in area for your pets own safety and passer byers, regaurdless of what breed your dog happens to be. These kind of situation can be avoided.
