This editorial was so unfair! How about the idiot that wrote this, plow the streets the next time we get a storm. When theses city guys get the call at 4 in the morning that it needs done so all you whiney people can get to work, they call you instead. Then you can see how frustrating it is to try and get close to the curb but can't because cars are parked on the street. Have you ever considered that the streets downtown are like they are because the sidewalks are shoveled to the gutter, then cars park there, packing the snow down? Then when it does warm up, there is no chance for it to melt and drain because it has been packed down? Same with property owners. The same ones that whine because it costs too much to water your yard in the summer are the ones that shovel the snow into the street in winter. Put it on your yard, help out mother nature!!!
And last but not least, if you don't like the snow, MOVE!!!!! Snow in Craig, CO during the winter is pretty much a guarantee like Christmas on Dec. 25.

I would like to commend the Road and Bridge department for a fine job of keeping our streets passable. The reason the streets are difficult to get around on is because idiots in this town push the snow from their driveways back into the street after the plows have already cleared the streets. These poor gentlemen work their tail ends off to make it so we can get to work or wherever. Put your snow in your yard. It's not like they can control the weather. If you don't like to shovel, move!!!!

I want to challenge each and everyone out there to take a minute and thank the awesome members of the volunteer fire department. I bet most of you don't realize that these folks are on call 24/7 and give up a lot of time w/ their families. Just ask any member how much time they got to spend with families this summer. They were busy keeping our town and county from going up in smoke while the rest of us had a nice summer. We are priveledged to live in this community and have such wonderful people looking out for our safety. A thank you needs to also go out to the ambulance personel for standing by to aide our firefighters, just in case.
To the arson, may you not sleep another night in peace, knowing that your days are limited!!!

Unfortunately all the “good” you say he did was a lie. It was satan speaking to you the entire time. Maybe he was only sizing you up is why he was kind to you. Setting up his next victim when the current one turns 18. What pediphyle wouldn't be kind and supportive? The last thing they want to do is draw attention to themselves!

I want to commend the police and sherrif's departments for a wonderful job they have done with the recent tragedy in the community. They have been available to help my family through this horrible time and offer any assistance they can. We should be proud of the hard work they do.
