I agree with David. ATV's and snow mobiles are meant to be “off road” vehicles. Why should we allow them to permeate our streets. At least with motorcycles, you have to have a special license to drive one. With 4-wheelers and snow machines, that is not a requirement but a “suggestion”. Maybe the law should be changed to make driving one of these machines something you need a license for and then I would consider changing my mind.

To suggest that the city can control this is probably the most ludicrous statement I have ever heard. MM is just a sneaky way for someone to go to their doctor and get a prescription and get stoned. Pot leads to so many other circumstances and speaking of MM, how does our local police force feel about this. I believe this will only make their jobs harder. Craig has a history of abuse of meth use, a history of abuse of alcohol, etc. All you have to do is read the police blotter week after week. Distribution charges, DUI's, and domestic violence charges every week. Leave your drugs outside our city limits and go elsewhere to buy it. I personally don't want it here.

To think that this is not a travesty is absolutely crazy. I certainly hope this girl was worth your reputation and career. The repercussions if Mr. Johnson is found guilty will be long reaching and unfortunately cost this area tons of money and time.

Teresa and JAHM,
I am sorry for your losses. I agree that people are driving too fast in our town. I won't let my grandson even play in the front yard because of the risk of them running out in the street after a ball and being hit by a car that is going 40-50 mph from the corner stop sign to in front of my house a block away. It is absolutely insane the way people drive in front of my house.
As far as pets go, I don't have pets and I don't appreciate pet owners who let their animals roam outside. I have far too many deposits in my yard both in the front and the back. I feel that if people are going to own pets, they should be responsible enough to keep them where they belong. JAHM in your case, I feel sorry for you that your cat died because of another irresponsible pet owner.
