Your doublespeak is amazing. Whenever someone challenges you, you back down and start ranting about the end of the world. Get a grip.

I'm glad to see a politician that's willing to state where he stands (in this case the mayor is a no) but who knows better than to believe he can't change his mind. It is a good thing that the Council is waiting to hear from city workers before they make a final decision. Taxslave may want an answer now but it's better that the Council take their time with this and get all the information before making a binding decision.

If your all for the city giving the school district $150,000 then what is your problem with the article? It seems like you agree. More idiocy indeed. We really need the paper to take us seriously but they won't if you keep spouting off like that with nothing relevant to say.

I'm starting to think theres no point in talking to you guys. You just want to complain and nothing is gonna change your minds. Its to bad the comments on here can't be more useful for the community. I'm not for any new taxes either but theres no reason to blame the paper for something they didn't say.

This idea about the school district is stupid though. I'd rather see the city spend it on something to clean all the dust off the streets.

Do you think the fact that the second guy lives in Wyoming had anything to do with that? People, if we keep beating up on the paper for things they already did (or in this case something they couldn't do) then how can we expect them to listen when we have something important to say?

I for one really like the way the paper is doing this. Instead of writing bogus promises about things they'll never do, they're writing about who these people are and why they want to be in education. More like this please!

Really what a dumb comment. Lets say I do work for the hospital. That wouldn't change the fact that you don't know what your talking about. I can tell your one of those people in town that thinks they automatically look smart if they complain about something. Give it up.

The paper had enough pictures. There were pictures of this thing on the front page the day after the festival. The problem is the photographer was the only one there. There should have been a reporter there. There were so many stories going on and I can't believe the paper didn't have at least one of those spotlight on a person stories they do. As usual the people in Craig complain about something they actually did instead of talking about the real problem. Way to go everyone. Redneckgirl is ignorant as usual.

He's just charged people. You don't know how this case will go, and knowing our DA's office it will probably be pled down too. Seems to me they're prosecuting him the same as everyone else, which means they will try and do it the cheapest way possible, which is a plea bargain and not a trial. You all are being naive. You think the real world operates like your John Grisham book but it doesn't.

Fair enough Patrick. I hope you do. But before you go out with your guns halfcocked, take a breath and remember to be rational. No one thought he could fix the economy in 100 days and he never said that. Things will probably get worse before they get better, despite what this newspaper keeps trying to forcefeed us. You don't have to scream to be heard.

All that said can we get off this business about which party is better? I agree with the first guy in the story, neither one has a good track record of changing anything that affects me and neither one represents me. Still, if Obama can change the way politicians talk about things like the Democrat Chairman thinks he can then maybe things will get better.

I'm not the paper's biggest fan. In fact I don't read it most of the time. But you two are so far off base on this one that I don't even think you thought about what you wrote.

First of all no one accused Flannery of doing anything wrong in Moffat. But she did get charged with stealing $72K from her employer in Routt County. That was only in 6 months, too by the way, and she worked for us for a year and a half. At the same rate she could have stolen more than $200K from us. I definitely want our newspaper asking whether they looked at their finances.

You do too taxslave. Or at least you did. I remember you posting on this same forum that the paper wasn't doing enough to find out whether this woman stole from us. You challenged the paper to stay vigilant. So now they did and you call them ugly. Nice.

The paper did what it was supposed to do. It never called anyone a criminal, it never said she was guilty. Maybe you two need to start reading the articles for what they are, as limited as they are sometimes, and stop pretending you are some great authority. Your holier than thou personalities are only interesting to yourselves.
