I'm not convinced that we would get our fair share of funding. I don't agree with throwing more money at mass transit projects like the train to DIA. The state's roads should be fixed first. They need to upgrade highway 13 from Meeker to the Wyoming border. Of course an even bigger priority is for the state to fund our school district like it should be.
Salt River Project also wants Unit One shut down.
Pardon my French, but this is a load of crap. Salt River Project is kicking us in the teeth. And they come right out and say that coal-fired power plants are worth less, just because they burn coal and not natural gas. This sets a horrible precedent nation-wide. Kick a community while they are down. Way to go, Salt River!
The bill was killed this week.
We really should pick either standard time year round or daylight savings time year round. Pick one or the other. I'd like daylight savings time all year. This back and forth would be wonderful to stop.
There's a bill in the state legislature to keep us on standard time.
A perfect storm of taxes could be coming.
I don't want to pay higher sales taxes for Denver metro public transit.
I also don't see House Speaker, Paul Ryan's, RinoCare health care bill bending the cost curve down for Americans. I feel like Charlie Brown trying to kick a field goal. We have the House, the Senate and the Presidency and Republican leaders pull the ball away just as we try to make the kick. People didn't vote for ObamaCare lite last November. The status quo isn't working.
Looks like the swamp isn't going to drain easily.
Is there a plan to keep it cleared of snow in winter?
So glad that you both are okay.
Please get involved. We are at a very dangerous place in our nation's history. Don't let this great experiment fail. What we have is very precious and worth saving and keeping. We are on the cusp of entering a very dark period. I fear that we could be very near the end without a miracle. You have GOT to do your part.
This bill doesn't deserve to be resurrected.
