Having been your tenant for 2 years, I have nothing but respect and gratitude for your family. You were fantastic landlords, and fantastic people to know. Congratulations!! More than deserved!!!
I'm sorry for the loss of your mother.I personally did not know her, but your letter beautifully conveys the love you had not only for her, but for our community and are there for us when we need help overcoming such a event.
Your Mom obviously did a sincerely, warm, thoughtful up-bringing of you, judging from your letter. I hope you celebrate her life, your memories together and treasure the sacredness of having her angel wings wrapped around you and your family. I'm sure she is proud. My best to you.
Only your conscience and God know if you truly practiced good intentions through your observations of these events transpiring.
I can only say that if I were to answer your well written questions (I appreciate the civility) as detailed as I'd like to, it would be a violation of HIPPA on my part and ethically not fair to Dr. Miller who would be unable to respond, also due to HIPPA. I'll admit, it's tough not to respond because I care deeply for Craig and it's residents. My own opinion is that there is a dangerous problem and I'd want to see that rectified as a matter of public safety and awareness.
Beyond that, as you say, "only your conscience and God know if you truly praticed good intentions." All I can say to that is my conscience and God know my heart, my intent, my action(s), and my desire to see wrongs, righted. I'm square with my conscience and God.
A perfectly written blog. Thank you for writing it.
@Ashley, in complete honesty I was never a patient because of his reputation. That was my personal decision, and I've never regretted it.
Second, the idea of your being one of my health care providers with verbage and punctuation errors such as yours in your rant is beyond frightening. Doesn't do much to instill confidence to prospective patients.
Thirdly, after you re-graduate from elementary school, try reading the First Amendment of our Constitution. As much as you have a right to voice your opinion, so do I and whoever justoncrack is. “Shut up” just doesn't work here. It's ok to agree to disagree, something many authors on this site have no concept of.
And lastly, have a terrific, calm day. Judging from your classless language, you are in desperate need of one.

thanks for the fits of laughter..you are truly a monumental, epic train wreck. Get a shrink, man er, woman. hahahahahaha
I applaud the officers who are looking out for us...even the completely stupid ones of us. If there's nothing there, then there's nothing there. But if there is, I'm glad to get it off the street and out of the schools. And if you don't think that's what happens to ALOT of the narcotics dispensed, you are so far in denial you might as well live a Norman Rockwell picture.
This is not a witch hunt, it's a drug investigation. I hope y'all stay focused on that and whatever happens, happens.
Please show me where I said I was a pharmacist in anything I've posted. I have not in any way misrepresented myself. Nor do I feel required to provide my resume'.
My name IS Heidi Click. I called my Mom and she indeed verify that. Thanks for your comment about not giving my real name gives me no legs to stand on. Who in their right mind would say that when themselves don't do what they preach. In the end, it doesn't matter really. I personally believe standing behind something I've posted. If Dr. Miller ever wanted to discuss my comments he at least has my name to do so. It's his right, if he were to choose to.
But what this has turned in to is a giant waste of time. I'm not in this to be malicious. I said what I wanted to say and continuing this BS back and forth is a waste of everyone's time.
I do however agree that all doctors are often put in between a rock and a hard place. Please refer to my first post, if you care to, about me not being qualified to diagnois or develop treatment plans for patients. I respect those in the medical field that are faced with these challenges day after day. That said, they are not incapable of practicing restraint or realizing they are being used.
As far as why I didn't do or say anything, how do you know I didn't? Whether I did or not is not your business and does fall under the laws regulating patient privacy. This is pointless...pointing fingers at strangers. It has nothing to do with the article or the investigation. I stand by opinion. Everyone is entitled to do so, and I respect that. The jackasses I'll go ahead and with pleasure ignore.
@WrestlinRockies: every single thing you wrote was an attack on me personally and a fabrication of statements I did not write. You called me "clearly someone who cannot be trusted with even the smallest amount of responsibility", "a shining example of why most people can not be trusted", and a "loose lipped friend". I ask you not refer to me as your friend...there is nothing about you that would be in the least bit deserving of my friendship. Honestly, you don't know me, so your comments mean less to me than the turd my neighbor's dog left in my yard, but your anger/ignorance/inability to stay on the original subject matter boils over to all of humankind being untrustworthy because you deem me " a shinging example of why most people can not be trusted"???? That is so absurd. Good grief, really?????
For the record, never did I say or imply I was a Pharmacist. Nor am I a liar or loose lipped, as you say. Never have I compromised my customers' privacy, nor would I, whether I am still in a position that HIPPA applies to or not.
When I lay my head down tonight, I'll have no regrets, no guilt, no feelings of needing to go to confession for the banter shared today. I might spend 0.0001 second thinking about what jackasses some people can be (ahem, you).
I made a point of being factual as I know it, including making it clear I do not know Dr. Miller personally or as a patient. I stayed positive in regards to hoping for a positive outcome of the investigation--no opinion was offered in regard to Dr. Miller's practice other than prescriptions, or to his staff, who are devoted to him. I imagine that all humans have opposing traits, some good and some not. It's not for you, me, or anyone to decide the outcome of this inquiry other than those involved in the investigation.
Other than the minority of folks using this forum for stupidity (by the way, since you do not care what I think-your words-, I consider you and I done communicating), I appreciate that this subject is being raised; is being debated. Debating should be a healthy way to express opposing views. I appreciate The Craig Daily Press providing this avenue of thought provoking conversation among it's readers.
cologrl, you should do some research on HIPPA before making ignorant remarks about what I wrote.
According to the US Government of Health and Human Services, HIPPA is summarized as follows: "The HIPAA Privacy Rule provides federal protections for personal health information held by covered entities and gives patients an array of rights with respect to that information. At the same time, the Privacy Rule is balanced so that it permits the disclosure of personal health information needed for patient care and other important purposes."
I in no way compromised HIPPA with my remarks. The fact that patient confidentially is protected by federal law is something all patients deserve, and I am especially respectful of that. Nowhere in my response to the article did a patient's right to privacy get violated. I welcome you to learn more about HIPPA by visiting hhs.gov.
That said, as a result of years of pharmacy experience I am a person with intimate knowledge of scripts that come from Dr. Miller. From that, I have an opinion-which I expressed, and which I continue to stand behind. I'm not sorry my name is connnected with what I wrote. On the contrary, I question those who hide behind anonymity.
