As I wait for all of this snow to melt, I get so excited for summer. I was looking forward to golfing and enjoying our amazing golf course.
    Until Monday!
There has been a great injustice done to one of our friends. I am writing this just to set the record straight & let the truth be known.
Here are the facts as I know them.
Thursday was the beginning of March Madness. 20 of our brackets were hung on the wall, so all could mark the winners and a champion could be crowned.
Food was prepared and the games began. It was also spring break so most of us had our young children with us.
That afternoon one of the employees of Y.V.G.C. came to the house to pick up boxes. After she left she called one of the board members and said she thought she smelled something illegal.
If it were me, and I thought there was something illegal going on, I would notify the proper authorities immediately. NOT call a board member.
The next day, the person who was accused of illegal activities @ his house was informed of the charges and accusations.
How could this be? He did nothing wrong. Just a bunch of friends and our families watching the games.
After the shock wore off he saw the silliness of the accusations. He knew he could clear his name by taking a voluntary drug screening. He tried to call the board and clear this mess up. All calls made to the board were ignored.
Finally on Sat. the board president answered his call and said they were consulting with their lawyer.
So, to have indisputable proof he went to a hospital to take the test.
The charges were false! The test came back 100% clean. As he knew it would.
He was delighted to have the sheet of paper in his grasp that would prove without a doubt nothing illegal was going on.
Unfortunately, the decision had already been made to let the best Head Golf Pro this valley has seen “go”.
He has always treated me, my family and friends with the utmost professionalism and kindness.
I just wanted the truth to be known and wish him the very best.
However, I can't stop thinking. What Country do we live in when YOU are guilty without the chance to prove your innocence?
    Let your voices be heard
