I am eieio's daughter and it really upsets me that you put All of the high schoolers in the same group cause I will tell you for a fact that there was a whole group of us that were not cursing. And to clear things up some of the high schoolers were throwing thing and that is wrong and i aploligize for their behavior but as my mom said that girl that went down to pick up the soda bottle what really happened (since you are worried about what really happened) is that one of the kids got sick of pop being sprayed at them wouldn't you? Took it and threw it. Then the dad sent her down there to get it so he could spray water at us isn't that respectful?

I was one of the high school students at the game. Yes it was a full house and yes some of the kids were cussing but it was only because the parents were egging it on. Normally we stand down there and do our own thing. This is OUR homecoming by the way. I was one of the students also who got some pop sprayed on them. Not all of us were cussing lady and some of us were asking our fellow students to stop cussing because there were children up there. So why don't instead of thinking that everyone is attacking you grow up and find your “Friends” that you were sitting with and hold them accountable also. No one was singling anyone out they were also making a point. Plus aren't parents supposed to act like role models? I do not beleive I heard any of the kids in the student section be mean to our principal. I know that the people around me (and I was the in the middle of the student section) did say “this is our home coming and we are not moving. Tell them to move.” I do not consider this to be rude or disresectful.

Sometimes I don't think anything kids do these days is ok. You would be ticked off if they were out doing something bad, being lazy. At least they have the ambition to stand during games and be social. If the adults behind them would have handled the situation a little better this whole thing would have never happened. The adults were acting like spoiled little brats throwing soda and soda bottles. I would have been cussing at them too. Is there a reason these adults needed to be acting in this manner???? Get up and move for gosh sakes. Grow up, act your age and maybe the children will too.
I too was sitting nearby the highschoolers. My take was the adults were totally out of line. My daughter was totally taken aback by the behavior of these people. A lady sitting near us asked the adults to stop what they were doing, they sent one of their children down to get a pop bottle that was thrown at the high schoolers so they could spray more soda on them. This woman took the bottle away so the ADULTS could not spray any more or throw it again.
These kids could have been out partying or doing something worse. Give them credit they were staying (or at least trying) to stay out of trouble at the football game who cares if they were socializing or watching the game.
Just for future reference they do this at basketball games too, so choose your spot wisely!!!

I believe Kerrry Alonso left out a lot of the story. I also was sitting at the game. The kids always stand up. I think this is great that they are there supporting our team. The kids were minding their business when these people behind them starting spraying soda and throwing soda bottles at them. The language these adults were using was absolutely incredible. Especially since they had young children with them. Their kids are going to be one of the high schoolers she was talking about one of these days. The high schoolers were using foul language also. But when they were asked to stop they did, unlike the adults above them. They sent one of their kids down to pick up a bottle they had thrown at the high schoolers to they could spray more soda on them and throw it again. Another adult sitting there took the bottle away and then turned the adults in for their behavior, not the high schoolers. If you want respect from these kids you need to give it. Our kids learn through behavior that is taught to them. Unfortunately, the high schooler that was using the foul language probably has a parent just like the ones above them using the same language and has not or does not realize what they are even saying is offesive to other people. This language becomes part of their daily lives when used at home.
I believe these adults need to take a look at their behavior before looking at our children this way. My daughter was one of the high schoolers sitting in that group. She could not believe that adults were talking and acting out that way. How sad is that!! Someone younger than yourself Kerry knows better than you!! Grow up and start acting how you would like to be treated.

It is really scary though, to wonder how many more there could be if the survery would have remained announymous. Only some of the teachers allowed the students to finish the survey completely the same day. Some of the kids believe that the survey makes no difference. The school isn't going to make any changes. The kids tell me that they smoke pot in the back hallways, have oral sex back there. I guess there are no cameras in the back stairways. So Lord only knows what else goes on back there.
My daughter now wonders about undressing in the locker rooms. If the bathrooms etc….. are now transgender or whatever the heck they are callling them….she says they might as well get undressed in the gymnasium….

My daughter goes to the high school. I wonder how “true” this survey was. She said they ran out of time and the teachers asked them to put their names on a post it note and put it on their paper and they could finish them the next day. Yea, that is really doing some good and getting some honest answers. If this was a survey and they wanted real answers, not a great way to get them.

I wished you have posted the results of both swimmers that were at the JO's. Matt Hulstine has such a great attitude and always worked so hard at practice. Colter did nothing but give the coaches grief and was rude to the other swimmers. His parents did nothing about it, except give the coaches more grief and make excuses for him. He is one kid that I never wanted my kids around at practice.
And who says he is too fast for the Craig Sea Sharks…..The Conci twins swam for the Craig Sea Sharks for a very long time…they are soooo much better and so much more humble than him. He is such a brat.
