Hear she wasn't treated like the star at Alamosa and she couldn't handle. Coaches wouldn't baby her any more
hunter, how do you know they weren't starving? Did you actually go out and see them? Talk to ranchers who had them invading their feeding grounds all winter, talk to people who went out hunting this fall and seen lots of carcassses from animals that had starved to death last winter. There were alot more animals that starved to death last winter than the wonderful dow wants people to know about....
Don't condone what he did, but do feel the rancher's have the right to protect their livelihood. Maybe the DOW should look at their figures a little closer when it comes time to issue tags for hunting.
Looks like at least they were covered. After talking to my daughter when I picked her up from the dance there was alot of questionable attire there. She said there was no way she would have worn alot of the dresses that other girls were wearing. Makes me wonder if they need a dance dress code, but what good would that do. Having been to the high school numerous times to pick up my kids the last few years they don't even enforce the dress code during school hours.
Look around town now and see how many of the kids that graduated last year, excelled in sports and got scholarships are back. The couldn't handle the college life or were not coddled by their new coaches.
I was at the school picking my daughter up Wednesday and heard over the intercom system an announcement stating there would be a student section marked off for them at Fridays game.
My kids have gotten the paddle or belt growing up. If I ever heard of one of them acting like this or disrespecting an adult they know there would be h#&& to pay when they get home. People have gotten scared to even spank their own kids.
If I ever caught one of my kids disrespecting a school teacher or principal like this they would have a warm bottom. But our society has become so that schools cannot punish kids any more. Lets give them a time out instead. I went through school without being in alot of trouble, but when I did screw up the principal had a paddle that would get your attention. I don't think I suffered any from this, but did learn respect for the teachers and school administrators. Maybe we need to bring back the paddles in the principals office, then maybe the kids might respect them.
Excellent job young man. I am sure that everybody that replies here at one time or another has screwed up and it took alot of guts to write the letter and sign your name to it. Mom and Dad should be proud.
Think there is better things to do with the money than build more soccer fields. What ever happened to the idea of a new building at the fairgrounds. They had drawings and wanted everybody to vote at the fair a few years ago, then that was the last we heard about it. I agree we need a rec center more than we need more soccer fields.
