“I don’t understand how the commission could vote against free information,” Rohrich said. I wonder what free information he is talking about as the article said something to the effect that the review would cost between $15,000 to $25,000. I guess that is free in some people's eyes.

This pie chart says differently ranger520, but you wouldn't believe it anyway. According to flag etiquette unless you are or were in the military you should put your hand over your heart and not salute it.

I have only dealt with the VFW on a couple of occasions but; has anyone out there tried to rent the upstairs facility from the VFW. If you have then you will know that the VFW has some outlandish demands in order to use it and they want to charge an enormous amount of money also. It doesn't suprise me that they would go into these negotiaions with over the top demands.

Thank you to all of the Churches that provided meals to the shutins and indigent, Faith Lutheran, Yampa Valley Bapist, St. Michaels. Instead of lazing around today and stuffing my face I should have been out helping. Sorry

And I Quote: “Good grief! [I]i said someone outside these unions to ride [herd]heard on the system itself. [W]wow there is always someone married to a teacher [Sorry you are wrong. I am not married to a teacher; you were assuming] that comes in and makes zero sense.
[Y]you people always want citizen groups to watchdog things like the police, but say one thing about the “never do wrong” teachers and [you're]your in trouble.
Looks like a few lessons from the union watch dog committee wouldn't hurt your situation at all…

This is from the Commissioners minutes in the CDP “Approved, 3-0, a $210,172 bid from County Technical Services, Inc. to provide worker’s compensation insurance for Moffat County employees.”
So I head over to the KRAI web site for more information and read this “The Moffat County Commissioners yesterday severed ties with Pinnacle Insurance for their worker’s compensation insurance. The county has been going through local provider Mountain West Insurance, whose reps told them yesterday that Pinnacle priced their rate high in an effort to discontinue their relationship with the county. They said the county’s loss ratio was too high”
That last statement should be a Key that the county is having to many workman comp claims to warrant Pinnacle insuring them any longer. Maybe the County should look at how they view their attitude concerning the safety of the County workers, it is not ok to go home injured from work. The Commissioners should be asking themselves what and why is our accident ratio so high and is it ok that we are sending people home injured.

@cmawest I guess I need some clarification on your comment. I know that you didn't mean that the Teachers Union is to blame for not riding herd on these people. Or was it to mean that the Teachers Union is entirely to blame for the standard of graduates that are being put out at Moffat County High.
