We just returned from a hunt at the Y Lazy S Ranch and couldn't be happier! The amount of deer was incredible. The only thing I would change would be to purchase a doe tag in advance along with the buck tag. Aleka and Monty were awesome hosts and I will definitely make this trip again, unfortunately not soon enough. We also had two young men (8th & 9th grade) that got their first bucks. The new cabin accomodations were fantastic as well. If you want a "guaranteed" elk I would probably wait until the 3rd or 4th season. They weren't there the last week of October. Good Luck!
