The population of Craig is said to be 9,464, and Moffat County is said to be 13,795. The graphic that ran with the story that shares this information can be found to the left of the story above or on the front page of the print edition. Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Actually, oldgezzer, you might take a look at this link to get the facts regarding laws in Colorado related to this subject.

Greetings,
Just to clarify. The letter that CindyLou referenced that was published twice was printed the second time (Saturday) at the request of the family due to the omission of a few family members when it was published the first time(Friday).
Please feel free to contact me with any further questions.
bjacobson@craigdailypress.com or 875-1788.

As you know I am not a fan of having the newspaper involved in the community forum, but in the accusation at the beginning of the post it is said, “One sided and biased journalism :still.”
Actually, the truth is we have stories planned for tomorrow and Thursday regarding the other candidates, and we are actively involved in getting in touch with those candidates. In the story it is mentioned that the public interview for Mrs. Villard is on Wednesday hence the story in today's paper.
As always please feel free to call me or email me directly with any comments or questions that you may have. 875-1788 or bjacobson@craigdailypress.com.
Thanks
Bryce

I am still unsure of the reason the story won't load, but I can assure you that the newspaper did not cause this problem because this is “the way the paper keeps us from making comments against Tony St John and his stupid rec center”. It is simply a technical error, that I have yet to find a solution for. I have re-posted the story and it can be read by clicking this link, http://www.craigdailypress.com/news/2… .
I apologize for the trouble.
Thanks

Good Morning,
Just to clarify.
The BGCA had gifted the Boys and Girls Club of Craig $60,000 to start a club in Craig 4-5 years ago, I do believe.
The Craig Daily Press has not been named business of the year any other year other than 2008.
The Boys and Girls Club of Craig pays for advertising in the Craig Daily Press.
Thanks

Actually, oldgezzer is incorrect in this case. The Boys and Girls Club of Craig does not send 50% of it's money to Boys and Girls Club of America. The money raised remains at this club with the exception of a membership payment which is about 1% of the money raised. But, even that 1% fee pays for many things that benefit the young people of Craig though the Boys and Girls Club such as grant applications on it's behalf, curriculum and much, much more.
As far as keeping any secrets that is untrue as well, as vice president of that board I know that the books of the Boys and Girls club of Craig are open to anyone who wants to come see them.
Please let me or the director Dana Duran know if you have any other questions.
Thanks

The long-standing policy of the Craig Daily Press is to not identify either victims or suspects in sex-related crimes. It is common journalistic practice to not identify victims of such crimes, and we think that should be the case for both victims and suspects in such cases. We will consider exceptions in certain cases. Such a case could be one involving a public official.

I want to make sure that you understand, it is my belief, that it is the role of the newspaper on this forum to moderate not be involved in the discussion. This is the community's forum on our website. Not the newspaper's forum.
I will respond to questions individually, unless I deem it appropriate to post a comment.
That being said, this will be my second comment in one week's time, and that is entirely too many comments.
Thank You
