I agree that alot of time and money is spent on athletics, but if I recall right, Moffat County sports team have performed above average on acedemic tests. The last two years, we have been number 1 in the state Football teams. Keep up the good works, guys

Yes Nimrod, Stehle's were two of the families that had rope tows, we were the other ones, so if you know the area, you should be able to figure who I am. A good time could be had by all on those small slopes.

We were the skiing bunch. there were 3 families on the south and east sides of Cedar Mountain that had their own "rope tows" up some local hills. My first skis were home made by my grandfather in the 20's and just had a leather strap for the binding, any boot would work. I still have the Allis-Chalmers tractor we used back then for the two motor. We also went sledding or skiing behind a truck on the county road, or a snowmobile. I also spent a little time at the ice rink and remember the big heater, but as farm kids with ponds, we used to just push the snow off parts of them for skating. Good Memories

Many parents that I know, have served Booze at their childrens Graduation parties. They say that they took the keys from everyone in attendance. They also say that if they dont do it at home, they will do it someplace else, and Know that they are driving home. It is a hot issue, but ANOTHER law is not going to change the facts, It has to start at the top and work all the way down.
On Steamboat Springs is considering adopting a social host ordinance, which would add harsher punishments -- such as jail time -- for adults who knowingly "host" parties where underage drinking is allowed. Do you think Craig needs a social host ordinance?

There is no serious third party candidate or I would likely support him, So I am voting AGAINST Obama. He's the one that scares me the most.
Look at his stance on OUR Flag and the National Anthem, If he Doesn't Respect our Flag, (which I served and fought for) he isn't fit to be Commander of our Military Forces.

I may be wrong, but i think the Music teacher was Mrs. Gibbons. She was a tough old Bird, but a fairly good teacher, Same as Mrs. Potter. I thought that East opened in the early 60's, My Grandfather was a carpenter on that building, Stayed with us during the week and went home to Junction on the weekends.
I think we are all within a few years. But I attended Sunset School.

Talk about Incentive for Rawlins. Call them the wrong name, then bring to mind that was have BEATEN the badly in the last 3 years, so their Seniors have something to prove. I know that KRAI can be heard in Rawlins (should they chose to do so), and they keep running the commercial about us haven beaten them. I hope that the hype of Homecoming doesnt distract our Bulldogs. Go Dawgs

I'm with you rexford. There is a whole lot about Obama's background that just doesnt add up. I think he has his own agenda, and it doesn't match what many of us envision for our future. Just in what he has said, we all know that our taxes will increase. I hate voting for the lessor of two evils, but until there is a serious 3rd party candidate, I am voting against Obama.
