Apparently it is a bad thing to be upset about being lied too. His little CAVE title just proves to me that he wont listen to anything the few who actually state their objections have to say. So closed minded!! Its like he wants to block out the things he doesnt like, but if he hears praise it on man!!

if that car was stored on the property and not on any public roads they dont have any right to enter that property to site it. Uh ...be prepaired to pay a hefty "FEE" of $100 because our great governor decided to add a $25 per month late fee on all vehicles and trailers rated for more that 7000lbs up to $100 added to your normal registration fees. That money is supposed to be put back into the infastructure improvemnent fund. But so far the only people benefiting from it is cities on the eastern slope.

Sam Relaford 1 year, 11 months ago on Letter: Fire Department has better options for new facility location

Its too bad that there are so few people in agreement on this issue. Ive been against it from the beginning. And Mr Chapman just confirmed my beliefs about the location as well. cforevereyz has a very good point. If you dont think our town is in need of repairs just drive through any street in Craig USA after you've had a major surgery. It doesnt matter what type of vehicle you drive ,it feels like an offroad obsticle course.

Sam Relaford 1 year, 11 months ago on Should Craig City Council approve retail gaming and liquor licenses for Tarango’s Nightclub, 535 Green St., even though owner Victor Tarango provided inaccurate information on his initial applications and a group of citizens is petitioning against it?

I'm not sure this town needs another alcohol eatablishment, but it sure needs the bussiness. I had heard a rumor, and we all know rumors are always correct, that this club was going to be for the hispanics to hang out. Why does it have to be just for them? I hope that if he does get the permit he doesnt allow it to become a big clique hang out. He may have needed an interpreter I dont know. I never met him. But i think he should re-apply with the application filled out correctly. Then he will get a fair shake like any other person who applies.

Sam Relaford 1 year, 11 months ago on After months of failed negotiations, do you believe the City of Craig and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4265 can successfully reach an agreement on Veterans Memorial Park (aka Craig City Park)?

I kind of agree with David about the land south of the pool. Either take the offer or sign back the lease. Either way I think the VFW will still come out ahead. There is a million different things they can do to raise money for their organization. Just think out of the box. It is a shame that the American Legion had to close the pool there. it would be nice to still be able to go there and chillax in the hot tub. OHH YEAAA!!!

I'm glad to hear the hospital was able to come in under their budget to replace the exray equipment. It is very important to stay up to date on that. This is a very important life saving piece of equipment that one should not skimp on. Perhaps they will take the surplus and invest it on some nice estetics for the around this outside of the hospital. Maybe a nice sitting garden with lots of flowers and trees and shrubs. You know the kind with benches and tables for the patients to go and relax while they are healing. A happy place is a healing place.

Sam Relaford 1 year, 11 months ago on Report reveals Moffat County residents among unhealthiest in the state

Do you really believe its the uninsured driving up the cost of healthcare? I dont ! I believe that the cost of health care is on a high speed rollercoaster of uncontrolled greed. I once went to the hospital concerning some very severe pain from my knee. The doc walked in, looked at it for about 1 second. Told me to take some ibuprofin. Then charged me $300 bucks! I couldn't believe it!

My point I guess is this. If the medical proffesional would make their cost affordable for everyone then their bills would be paid in full. There would be less people using the VNA or CIP to get help with their medical needs.AND then the people of this area would be healthier and more likely to get out and be more active.

You know what Doug? Your right! There should be someone there from the paper to record these meetings. Then the people who aren't able to attend and the ones who dont know when these meeting are happening, like me for instance, can stay informed. Come on daily press! Can you help us out??

Sam Relaford 1 year, 11 months ago on Residents share feedback with Craig fire board on proposed training center

Did anyone else know there was even a meeting going on? I never heard about it. I guess I must live under a rock. You want more people to attend then get the word out when and where you are going to have these public forums. Try radio or maybe an ad in the paper.

Well Saunders! I said we have very good firefighters here in Craig. And dont judge a man before you meet him. Cause I say I'm Thefatguy doesnt mean I am a fat slob that sits around doing nothing.I am actually an Honarably dischargedDeasert Storm Vet that works very hard and pays taxes that support our fire department and police force. What I am saying is that when the public says no, they mean no. Dont ignore what we say. And YES I believe they will allow an eyesore to be built in this area. Have you ever seen the training facilities in Hayden or Rangely? Its not pretty no matter how you build it.
