    The so called "clean coal" is pure rhetoric. Coal is the dirtiest of all fossil fuels. Coal will be in the mix for some time, but we need to move away from it and de-carbonize as quickly as possible. CO2 levels have reached 357 PPM, which exceeded the IPCC model predictions, and this will have a major impact on humans and the environment. If we stopped spending 600 billion a year in Iraq, and just put 1/4 of the 600 billion into new truly clean energy producing technology we can solve our energy issues, create jobs, and support our environment.
