Perhaps I didn't understand the question, although I read it several times and the only answer response I can come up with is this.... If there are those of "non-christian faiths" why would a church be wanted? necessary? God is the creator and ruler of the universe. Everybody, whether they love God, resist Him, or ignore Him, will ultimately come face to face with His majesty, and will recognize Him for who He is (Philippians 2:9-11)

Do they believe in Jesus? Do you really believe? Shortly after Max Lucado came back from his mission work in Rio, Brazil, he shared with a group of his closest friends that his theology was pretty simple. He didn't have a handle on a lot of the big difficult theological problems that divide folks. But Max said he came to the firm and deep conviction that God loves us and he showed that love by really sending Jesus to live among us, to die for us, and to be raised from the dead so that we could be raised from death, too. This is the work of God -- amazingly simple and awesomely powerful; Thus supporting John 6:29 .... John Jesus answered, "The work of God is this: To believe in the one he has sent."

Wouldn't it be great if we could tear down all the walls that divide us -- racial, social, economic, and gender. The apostle Paul spent his entire life trying to do just that: to tear down the walls that divided people by bringing them to Jesus and the cross.

There are no positions of superiority or inferiority at the foot of the cross, only a place for those who discover God's might displayed in sacrifice and God's love displayed even when under attack at the hands of human cruelty. While the forces of culture and human selfishness are always finding ways to divide us, we must remember that in Jesus, and only in Jesus, can we be one.

In a much simpler term: If I am wrong, I have nothing to lose, but if you (non-believers) are wrong, you have everything to lose.

Oh yea!!!!! Now she can gossip and ruin peoples lives from the OTHER end of the building!!! Whoopie! Well.... I guess its good to have a goal you CAN achieve!

Lawspecialist 6 years, 8 months ago on Chat with Mike Brinks and Elaine Sullivan, candidates for Moffat County treasurer

Alright then. Everyone vote, vote, vote! Just be really careful, sometimes you get more than you bargain for. I believe Mike owned his own business with his brother? IPM Supply? Elaine, ugg. Let's see, to keep it short, she "copied" off the previous clerk's budget for an example and had Lila do most of it for her, she only wants to be the Treasurer because she has no where else to go and God forbid if she should have to get a real job. She likes working in public offices so she can gossip and get into everyone's business. Support of the entire staff? HA! That's a good one. Those women can't stand her! They just don't say anything because THEY NEED THEIR JOBS! I hope you win Mike and if Elaine wins,.... watch your back people, she has a very sharp sword and she does use it regularly! (p.s. update at suit at 11)

Yeah, NO THANKS. I've worked with her and could easily list count upon count of her so called "work ethic and value" practices. Ugh.

Lawspecialist 7 years ago on Deputy clerk to step down because of Hatch Act

Oh, yes..... Fact: If you are going to put yourself out there, you best be able to walk the walk.

Fact: If you have done nothing wrong, people don't come out of the woodwork and confront you.

Fact: Using the story about the donkey won't get you votes

Fact: I'll bring the "shovel's"

Lawspecialist 7 years ago on Deputy clerk to step down because of Hatch Act

Fact: Lila HAS served with a certain level of integrity over the years; not the "highest".

Fact: Lila accepted funds indeed; buildings/facilities that are public voting places "must" meet standards according to law and ACLU requirements for the handicapped. NOT her idea, but a requirement to be met.

Fact: If she knows her job, law, rules, regulations so well, it is her obligation to research "all" rules and regulations that could impact her stature BEFORE accepting/applying for the funds when she knew she would run for County Clerk.

Fact: It's her own fault and I find it sick that she is portrayed as a victim of the law when, according to her, she was fully aware of the act which affects her. Everyone believes until it happens to them.

Fact: Dannered Day? That's just glorifying them and their actions when someone expels that much attention to them.

Fact: There are people who are actually surprised by the appointment of Danner? Moffat County and specifically the second floor is the hub known by everyone as "Peyton Place". wink wink

Fact: Lila did not appoint Danner, she hasn't the authority to perform such an appointment.

Fact: I won't miss her in any way shape or form. There are other people, obviously, who can perform her duties when she is absent.

Fact: Due to the extreme level of drama, judgmental behavior/opinions, rumor repeating, hearsay gathering, scandalous chit chat, do as I say not as I do actions and environment she participates in which she has helped create, I would NEVER vote for her and most certainly do not look forward to her return ever.

Fact: I look forward to the review of a civil complaint.

Ohhhhh ho ho ho ho ho.........know about karma? "actions determining future state: the quality of somebody's current and future lives as determined by that person's behavior in this and in previous lives". So so sad, but I'm inclined to agree with Thatone and I agree those women deserve a nice BIG plate full of karma! Thatone? You are not alone there are many others who would agree with you. I know previous employees who worked at the clerk and recorders office who can testify that your statement is true and beyond; some of the things they have done and said to and about others have been so devistating that, it could result in a suit filed. After the testimonies (which are horrific) I have heard, they make it very painful to be on the other end of their gossip stick. They operate on a do as I say, not as I do philosophy and thrive on the mud they sling toward others (and that's just a nice way of saying it). The way those women talk about others is truly disgusting notwithstanding the way they treat their own employees. The two you mentioned being the most drastic. They judge others when they themselves are absolutely scandalous! I'm quite positive their junior high has called and made the request that "they want their drama back". If any person thinks they walk out of that office and someone actually cares about them, I am sorry to say it just doesn't happen. If anything is done for someone else, it is because they want recognition, not because of concern. It's a shame they've been allowed to operate a government office in such a manner and I'am quite sure they will continue to do so. I believe, however, one should give credit where credit is due and I will say that both know their jobs, however, I also believe someone should investigate their "special fund account". The one that buys them coffee pots, microwaves, breakfast, lunch and more. This will be quite interesting.

Ahhhhhh ha ha ha, more humor! wooooooo you crack me up! You should take that on the road! lol lol oooooooooo, what are going to do. . . tell on me! bah ha ha ha ha, hee hee hee. Oh stop, you are so funny! Im not ashamed of anything, I believe 100% in the things I say and do! I just feel sorry for the poor person of whom you "assume" is me. lol lol You can call me any letter in the alphabet for all I care, it doesn't bother me one bit; again, you don't control my emotions, I do, therefore, whatever you say, think or do carries no substance. Ahhhh, now, let's see.... you have tried to belittle, riducule and spread your opinion about others whenever the opportunity arises. . . and, why? Because we don't believe in the same things you do and poof! here you are doing it to everyone else! ah ha ha ha ha, now that is funny! Ah ha ha ha I'm inclined to believe that name is pronounced "dunce". :) Again, I thank you for the humor and for making my day! May all the blessings you deserve come to you! I'm done with you, so you can respond to this as I let you have the last word, which will hold some "clout" in your mind I'm sure. Have fun!
