Hey, a good fat to add to your diet is rice bran oil. It is loaded with vitamin E which is good for lowering cholesterol. I like cooking with it because the smoke point is 490 which is much higher than most oils.

I think a better oil alternative for cooking oil should include rice bran oil. It has a smoke point of 490 compared to olive oil at 360. Olive oil should not be used for high heat cooking. Also, rice oil has more antioxidants than olive oil. Check out the research, rice oil really helps in lowering cholesterol.
