I would give lower than one star if I could!! We are from Steamboat Springs and have eaten at the Smokehouse a few times. We have always been a fan of the beer in the large frosted mugs. However our last experience with the Smokehouse will truly be our last. My husband ordered a smoked sausage sandwich. The sandwich was cold when he got it. His first bite he found a bone. It was very easy to tell that the bone was not part of the sausage but mixed into the sauce the sausage was in. Thinking that sometimes bones happen with meat he took another bite and got another bone. That's when we actually looked at the sandwich. In total there were nine bones on his sandwich. They were clearly chicken bones and ranged from pea size to quarter sized. After we finally got the attention of our waitress (at least 5 minutes) we asked to speak to a manager. After another 5 minute wait the manager came over and clearly had better things to do than deal with us. She made it seem like it was our fault for ordering a smoked sausage sandwich. I guess we were not aware that all smoked sausage sandwiches include numerous bones. Not only can I not say good things about the foor or staff but feel that the food is downright dangerous. Please be cautious if you choose to eat here.
